I can't get the librl link to work either. Tried cutting and pasting as well, no luck.

Is librl different for 1.4 than it was for 1.3?

Edit: I got the "link" to work. You literally have to copy the text you see, not do a "copy link address" or click on the link.

It is the same libril file.
I copied here again only for completeness.

To copy the libril file in the correct folder you need to enable system folder in R/W mode! Otherwise It will be impossible to copy the file.

Re: Binary patched kernels for Pipo models

I've tried a couple of the 1.4 kernels

          I first tried

          kernel_GPS_1.4_cpu1704h_VERY_LOW_V1_gpu600_ddr744

Since the same kernel was stable for me in 1.3. But this 1.4 version kernel would lock up after a few minutes of use.

Thinking it might be the voltage, I then tried

          kernel_GPS_1.4_cpu1704h_VERY_LOW_V1_gpu600_ddr768

But it locked up as well.

So I used setcpu to set the minimum CPU frequency back to 312 mhz and the 768 kernel has been completely stable.

I guess my CPU just wasn't stable with the 216 mhz minimum frequency.

            It's not a matter of frequency, I think it's the 775mV at 216Mhz.
Try using the "825_users_V1 version. In terms of power consumption the kernels are practically identical, but the slightly higher voltage for 216Mhz (800mV) I think will do the trick for you.

Let me know! Otherwise I'll prepare a mod for you

I believe you may be right. I flashed the 825 users 744 kernel and it's stable so far. Benchmarked well, and seems to be sleeping ok. It will take a day or so to know for sure, but looks good so far!

              Thanks again!

                m9 pro pls,

i use latest m9 pro rilley 2.7 rom

full range of possible value from stock to max of cpu-gpu-ddr would be great.

                like this:

with rockchip device oc the cpu or the gpu don't good any good and stable result and most the times under perform the device (i do many test many month with many voltage and kernel) only to boost the ram speed give a real usable and stable performance.

i could reach 14500 on my mk808b original without fan,on stock heatsink and pcb in is own original plastic case. with this unlocked kernel cpu scale from 252 to 1600 ondemand, to achieve the best result overall with any rom i use the cpu_stock-gpu_stock-ddr_466 kernel and in dmesg ddr calibrate to real 428mhz

if cpu or gpu freq is touched it under perform to +/-12000 of antutu

for now in my m9 pro 2.7 rilley rom stock kernel ddr is set to 300mhz it's slow as hell for ddr3
(very fast, stable and good rom rilley, many thx by the way, your the man)
with this rom we are suppose to step from +/-18500 to +/- 22000 with a proper kernel that only higer the value of the ddr

maybe mo123 could give is magic kernel build trick to you?....

                i'll be the assiduate tester...

use kenel 1325 768 for couple of days. Everything is very good at begining. But today the deep sleep disappear, just 216mhz when I turn off the screen. How to bring it back?

You probably have an app that prevent the tablet to go in deep sleep mode.
You need to analyze all running apps to identify which one is giving you the problem.

Hi giouncino, please tell me what governor do you always use with your kernels? Thank you in advance.

Interactive is good enough for general use.
But now I'm testing hotplug governor to see if it saves more battery.
General performance is exactly the same as interactive, but for me it's still not clear if it allow to really save more battery or not. I need to test it more.

Hotplug wasn‘t good enough for me - I have counted several restarts. Now I use interactive and is ok so far. The only one that trigerred deep sleep was ondemand governor with 1325 768 kernel.

deep sleep is not a matter of CPU governor. There is something else that prevent your tablet to go in deep sleep.
very strange that hotplug is unstable for you...

You're right - it also works with interactive governor, just checked. I have set powersafe profile when the screen is off - when the mobile connection is turned off (bacause of battery saving I suppose) the deep sleep mode appears without any problems. This is what I have noticed. Turning on the screen brings back mobile connection to the cellular network
