Any idea when there will be an update to 1.2.4 that supports passthrough SPDIF optical audio in xbmc?

you need a patches libmedia.so from stafstrom. You can download it from

http://minixforums.com/attachments/libmedianeox7fw007patched-zip.472

just extract the libmedia.so from zip file and copy it to /system/lib, then restart your box.

If you have tried with old and new kernel and you still have problem with wifi/ethernet/bluetooth, then it's other clone which doesn't have same hardware!

unfortunatly i cannot say if the firmware works on this box, because i don't have the hardware. As many of you know there're many new models (same label t-r42, k-r42m cs918) but with another wifi/bluetooth/ethernet chips,
it's inpossible to support all models without hardware!

You can try to flash it and see if it works.

I was happy with my CS-918/K-R42 old board revision box and your 1.2.3 old FW before, but fried it accidentaly with wrong 12V PS
Received new device(K-R42, 8188ETV wifi, w/o BT) last week.
Had tried to flash it with 1.2.4 using your different kernels, but there was limit of speed 1,4 Ghz only (and more over 1,2 Ghz with your overclocked kernels).
Flashed with either 1.2.3 new or old FW, box doesn't boot at all.
Do you have any idea about solving 1,4 Ghz limitation in your 1.2.4 FW for new revision boards?
Stock FW allows me to have 1608 Mhz, therefore, it is definitely not 3188T issue.

Well you offer at yours NFS CIFS support, is that in the kernel or a addon, this is what I need actually now on my b351_1.1 .

i had the same issues until i found the correct Kernel. it now works with all versions of rom from wasser and lewy for this box with this kernel. http://www.freak-tab.de/wasser/k-r42...ion-kernel.img
just use the flash tool with loader.1.24 and this kernel

i uploaded new 1080p kernel for t-r42 new revision boards. This kernel fix the cpu lock at 1.4Ghz.

the NFS and CIFS support is enable in kernel, so you don't need any kernel modules

But my device is K-R42 new revision. Can you help?

Edit: Have just flashed it. Yes, both wifi and lan work on my K-R42 (No BT device with 8188ETV wifi chip). But performance is too low. AnTuTu shows me about 16700 only. Clock range is 312-1608.
