Antutu and other small things

Neomode, Very fast, nice, rom. Thank you for your hard work . I have a MK809III. Downloaded your rom. I ran antutu benchmark. It crashes at 4% complition. (cpu test, I think). Also, bluetooth (I am not using it) I can not switch it ON.

Hi!

I managed to install this rom with Windows 8.1 by following a topic on this forum. All was great until the hdmi flicker problem appeared...

On 1.7 I used 720p resolution and it didn't flicker anymore! Video performance was great and I was very happy! But I missed 1080p resolution.

On 1.8 I downloaded the 1080p version and all seemed to be ok: good video performance and quality... but after around 40 minutes of playing 1080p video the hdmi flicker appeared! It is not o BIGGG problem as it only lasts 2 or 3 seconds... but if you are watching an important part of a movie it ruins the experience!

I already have spent money on a 3A PSU, an Y cable for my external HDD so I could connect it to another PSU (1A)... But it looks like the problem is still here! So sad...

But then again, thanks Neomode because your very hard work is bringing our sticks closer to perfection!

And for all you guys looking for a nice launcher for the stick, try Smart Launcher! It's free and it will blow you away with it's simplicity! Give it a shot!

Shutdown option isn't working... it is rebooting!

There is no much difference between 720 and 1080.
The Nand Problem should be fixed.

Thanks Neomode for your fast reply and for letting us know that you will check and fix some errors in the 1.8 ROM!

As I mentioned before, I installed the new 1.8 ROM (720 version) in my CX-919, and the system boots without problem, however decided to try the 1080 version and the boot process always frezzes at the "Neomode Screen" just after the RIkomatic Picture.

I would like to add, that after the system lock at the "Neomode Screen", my TV Screen don't show the full image... It only shows a Black Screen with several very small distorted images with horizontal lines (about 3x3 inches each) at the top of the TV screen.

I am installing the 1.8 ROM in my CX-919... Do you think that is better to use the Loader 2.03 (RK3188Loader(L)_V2.03.zip), instead of the Loader 1.2 (that came with the 1.8 ROM)?

Do you recommend me to use the latest loader 2.03 for both 720 and 1080 versions?

I can't connect to HDMI port directly because the stick won't fit properly... :s At 720p it doesn't do that! I'll buy a quality HDMI extension to see if it solves my problem and will report back my experience for any users having this problem.

Ok, I have used a 1.7 for quite a while and it was all ok but waited for a 1080p. So instaled 1.8 and .. black screen ... tryed loader 2.03, black screen nothing whatsoever.
I have MK809III. Anyone had/has similar problem ??
I still can get it into flash mode and re-flash it so it's not bricked

As I say earlier I make an Update on it. Right now I Work with it to find the Failures.
I will be testing it in all my Stick I have MK802IV J22 and MK809III Rev.2 and Rev.3.
After this I will release it again.

1080p with loader v1.20/v2.03 no error but black screen

You are not alone with this question because the both images are the same.
Tell me did you have the xbmc clone installed ?

Yesterday, I installed the 1080p version and I backup the entire installation and applications using Titanium Backup. Today, I installed the 720p version, and I didn't have root, but in restoring data and applications with TB and run the superuser app, got root again and, yes, I have installed the XMBC clone.

Hi Neomode,

On both 1.7 & 1.8, misaligned shortcuts to apps can become stuck behind the toolbar and out of reach.

After a reboot, the shortcut moves from behind the toolbar onto the desktop.
