Good ones are Apex or Nova Launcher.
The Apps you mean did not Run by default. The Apps will be Installed by a Script the First Time you run the Rom. All my Apps are Installed as User Apps. This is be done because you can easy remove it over Settings.

I have noticed that the new launcher that you use in your 1.8 ROM is not as fast and complete as other launchers... I can not find the setting to modify this launcher and sometimes the pointer+screen is very slow.

Neomode, could you please upload the Launcher Apk, that cames with the Neomode 1.7 ROM?

True - the new Launcher sucks
My XBMC, which worked flawlessly, on 1.8 started to quit movies after 4-5 minutes of playback..

Another thing on 1.8 - NO ROOT??? Why?
I am going back to 1.7 for now.

I have just reflashed 1.8 with new loader, but now my device is bricked...
Not booting, not recognised by PC in flashing mode, after pressing reset and connecting.
I have even tried to shortcut 8-9 pins of NAND, but not working..

                    Hi Neomod!
Thanx for the upgrade. Any news on how to differentiate between MK809III devices on which it will work?

Same problem on j22 with 720p kernel from provided link and launcher 2.03

Would be great if you can eventually fix it, now going back to your 1.7 rom.

                      Love your work

                      UPDATE:
It seems to be a loader problem indeed. I cant loads roms anymore with the old loader cause is starts to give errors. The new loader would flash but has a black screen after the initial logo.
                      Photo of error is attached

                      UPDATE 2:
After trying several times (different kernels different roms) this error also show up:

                      UPDATE 3:
For some reason (after keep trying) it finally worked. Rom works good. I dont like the launcher but replaced it.

                        Hi!

I managed to install this rom with Windows 8.1 by following a topic on this forum. All was great until the hdmi flicker problem appeared...

On 1.7 I used 720p resolution and it didn't flicker anymore! Video performance was great and I was very happy! But I missed 1080p resolution.

On 1.8 I downloaded the 1080p version and all seemed to be ok: good video performance and quality... but after around 40 minutes of playing 1080p video the hdmi flicker appeared! It is not o BIGGG problem as it only lasts 2 or 3 seconds... but if you are watching an important part of a movie it ruins the experience!

I already have spent money on a 3A PSU, an Y cable for my external HDD so I could connect it to another PSU (1A)... But it looks like the problem is still here! So sad...

But then again, thanks Neomode because your very hard work is bringing our sticks closer to perfection!

And for all you guys looking for a nice launcher for the stick, try Smart Launcher! It's free and it will blow you away with it's simplicity! Give it a shot!

                        EDIT:

Shutdown option isn't working... it is rebooting!

Thanks Neomode for letting us know that you will make a different Launcher...

The KUII Launcher that you have used in the 1.8 ROM, does not let me restore all my APP+Data automatically using Ultimate-Backup... I have to restore one by one the APPs, because I have to assign each APP to an specific category.

There are some excelent launchers out there, like ADWLauncher, Kitkat Experience an many others with KitKat themes...

I asked you before, but never get any reply... Would like to know if there is to much differences, in the screen display speed and HD video play, between the 720 and 1080 versions?

One last question... Did you Fix in this new 1.8 ROM, the NAND Mount/UnMount anoying problem?

Thanks for your hard work and for always replying to all our requests!!

There is no much difference between 720 and 1080.
The Nand Problem should be fixed.

                              ....A bit of confusion......

Sorry but I have a bit of confusion.

Yesterday I posted to have problems to flash your 1080 ROM getting "Dowwnload File Failed" error and I asked about the "package-file" where I've checked that the Kernel line is commented:

                              # NAME Relative path
                              #
                              #HWDEF HWDEF
                              package-file package-file
                              bootloader RK3188Loader(L)_V1.20.bin

                              NO ANSWER

After several attempt, finally I installed the 1080 ROM but I discovered that the Bluetooth cannot be turned on and during a Google Hagout download the mk809III restarted.

Yesterday I've been asked to confirm when I bought the mk809III and I answered that I bought it 3 days ago from Amazon.

Probably it is version 3 (?) but I don't know how to check it.

Please, can anybody give me some information about my issues?
