I still have this issue that my MK802IV close down when not in use over night!!, are there no way that this can be solved?? As written before I use my stick in my car, and if this shall be a clean and nice installation stick shall always be on: (Have constant power on) I am not a developer, but I have mounted in linux, but cant find anything in system or boot.img??


when I unpack boot.img in kernel tool, I got the contents of the ramdisk, but when going into this contents, I cant see anything describing close down system.

Just need some guideline how to access kernel.img if the solution are in there!!

UPDATE
When reading another thread on the forum, I noted that I always use the USB OTG connector to give power, that are done, due to better access. I have now moved the power connection to the default power gate, and will see tomorrow if I still have that "boot" issue!!

That didn't help, stick was closed down, and I needed to wait for a boot and do my Bluetooth connection manually.

Fund the really problem, it has nothing to do with android or MK802IV stick!!Even with direct power from my car battery, be course when I start my car and the small start engine pulls power from my battery, it will drop so much that stick gets a power glitz and do the reboot!

Hello, first of all, NICE VERY NICE ROM here..!

Only got 2 problems, first the sound, HDMI PASSTHRUGH dosent stay on after reboot.
secound, i got a USB -> Lan adapter that makes my device freeze.

Seller thinks that the chipset used is: AX88179, AX88772A or SMSC7500 is any of these included in this ROM ?

Or do you have an other adapter that does give more than 7-8Mbit got 3 chep ones from china, but all low speed, this one gives me full speed but freeze or reboots my devices :/

I figured as much. It will need its own power feed to supply stable juice while the car draws big current for an engine start.. Thankfully it doesn't require substantial voltage or amps to run, so should be an easy fix with a trip to a vehicle parts shop or car a/v retailer.

Heres a lil update in case anyone out there is wondering...I tried to flash one of the Overclocked kernels, but i couldnt boot. So i used overclockmatic using the kernal from rom...and WALLA!! Im running at 1.8 cpu, and 800 DDR!

Man, you're wrong. I made the same procedure several times and have no positive results. The cpu freq for all these krnls is limited to 1412 mhz. You could check it using cpu-z from playstore. Or please show us the prooflink.

I have an 2 Farad power block to support my amplifier and subwoofer, even if I connect my stick to that unit power drop when car starts, so we are probably not talking about much drop before stick reboots?

What you need is something only for the Stick. The 2 Farad only for the Ampfiler.
Or you use a battery with 5 V to over brick the power inter rupption.

you will neeed a diode so that power isn't drained - when you start the car.... place it before the capacitor - with a resistance - in front of it .
