    Underclocking

    Hello Neomod,
i testet your custom rom, its really good.
I dont watch HD movies, and the clock is allways
on 1,2ghz. So it is very hot.
Is there a way to underclock it or is there a kernel which works same as
    the stock rom?

    thanks

      Excellent

      Hello,

Before I try this ROM, I think that my MK809III is a very bad device. But, this ROM solve all my problems. Videos are OK, WebCams are OK and Wifi is OK .

      Thank for your great work.

I think that MK809III maker must work on his ROM before selling device.

      Bye

        Neomod,
After ~ one week of use this rom I found that WiFi works at slow speed. 4.5mb down and 5.6mb up. (My dungle sits right next to the WiFi rauter)While my other WiFi gadgets work fast. My network is 100mb/50mb. Now I see why my netflix does not have good picture. Would you be able to fix this?
        Thank you.

I just want to point that this 1.9a ROM works great with MK802iv new model. Tested wifi, bluetooth, and performance overall.

I just installed this ROM and tried all four kernels (kernel, kernel1, kernel2 and kernel3) and all three seemed to work on my MK809III. The wifi performance was noticeably better with kernel and kernel3. For now, I'm sticking with the kernel3 (but on wired, the wifi is too unreliable; this has nothing to do with the ROM or kernel though, I think the software is squeezing all it can out of this poor tiny antenna).

So I'm on wired internet with this USB to ethernet adapter. Speedtesting gives disappointing results (around 5 Mbps download speed). It is no surprise that I have stuttering video when I try to stream HD content from my desktop pc. When the media is available locally (on a USB stick) it plays smoothly.

I read in this thread that neomode suggested to another user with a similar setup to use a separately powered USB hub, giving the adapter enough juice. I will try this and report back.

But a big thank you to neomode for making this piece of art!

I believe that was me, I bought the 3A psu but that did not stop the stuttering. I think (hope) it is the USB to ethernet adapter which has a poor transfer. I had the rd9700 and I'm waiting for my new one with asix chipset. Hope that will do it.

if you want better wifi, attached the wifi aerial to the outer casing.

May a another issue can buy that the Chanel is full.
Use Wifi Analyser from Play Store and look how many Station Working on the same Chanel as you.
If it is more than 2 I would Change my Wifi Chanel.

Yes, this solve the speed problem.
                                Android Terminal Emulator:
                                su - enter
                                dmesg - enter
You can see the adapter chip, and the connecting version. The RD9700 = usb 1.1 on Android. The ASIX88772A, or B use usb 2.0.

If You use lan adapter, with Neomode19.a, please check the mac -address before, and after reboot! My MK802IV change mac address every system start and I' dont know, why.
                                Thank You very mutch!

                                Sorry, for my bad English!
