Hi, Will Neomode 1.9 work on a Rikmagic MK902? If so what is the best kernel to use with this box.

I am sure the answer is already somewhere in here but I can't seem to find it.

I run UG007B stick with this rom. When I try and play a video the video lags big time. Audio starts almost immediately whilst xbmc screen still shows the menu, then 10-15 seconds later the video shows up but is really staggering.

Any idea why? I am running the latest nightly build of XBMC, seems like it isn't using the hardware acceleration but I have modified the advancedsettings.xml to force always to use HW acceleration.

Any ideas?

*edit: Seems to be a issue I had earlier when using a mysql database instead of a local one. Can not figure out why that would affect video playback thou. The file itself is on the same remote nas when i try with and without any advancedsettings.xml

To make sure its the mysql connection that is causing the problems I added the advancedsettings.xml with the videolibrary lines removed and then it plays just fine. When i add the mysql connection the video is unwatchable again

Sorry for double-posting but I couldn't find a way to edit and add attachment, guess it's not possible.

Anyhow, here is my log file if that could help anyone spot the problem. It might be a bit off topic but anyone else successfully been able to use a centralized mysql database for the android version of XBMC?

i think i have the same stick....in every rom doesnt work wifi and bt but i found a rom that works...

than unpack

go to folder RK Upgrding Tool -> Batch Tool
start the exe with admin

(on the left side you can change the language to english )
chose the file Update_bt919_rk3188_dongle_ap6210_131123.img (you have downloadet it first)
than press restore...

wait .....when it finished wifi and bt works....

Your wifi chip is AP6210...The rom at the start of this thread should be ok for you.

not really, Ive tried the rom, but my chip uses a different driver for some reason.

it might, will give it a try one day, at Im searching the forums to other that have had same issues, to se if anyone have a perfect rom.

Rom I use no is a bluetimes 919, if that helps for anyone that might have suggestion to other roms that is good.

Feel the rom Im using now is better that the stock I had because of the root, atleast I can get tun.ko installed and working vpn now.

That should be ok I was going to say do that..the worst that will happen is your wifi or Bluetooth wont work

just tried one of them, ended up with it starting to boot, then it restarted, and started to boot...

going to try 1 more before I jump back to the working one again, if I dont mess up my stick...

would have been so nice with a better video playback, its kinda skipping frames atm
