1. Is the xbmc same as the old stock rom has? Would you recommend to install Justxbmcv4 on this rom.
2. For mx player I saw many codecs armv6 & armv7 versions which one is the correct one?
3. To launch the player selection menu which key to press using a PC keyboard or mouse? If using the factory remote what key can get this selection? I only sae option to play, download, add to favotries etc. on the movie list file and then on the source selection once clicked it would simply launch the default player. What am I doing wrong here?

Uninstall the XBMC that came in the ROM ... Mx Player arm 7 neon..! I'm using a long wired mouse, I just right click on a movie title, it pops up ... Yeah the option "PLAY USING" is what you want, it's the correct "JustXBMC.Apk you got ....!

The VPN config was not modify from the original stock rom (I think) if your question aims to that or you ask for a VPN "easy way" to get to work?.

This 1080p ROM Build Is Sweet To The Bones

I have been looking for a 1080p ROM build like this for a long time, just what the doctored ordered ... It will be a long time, before I take this ROM off of my CR11S and CS968 Android TV box devices, just awesome ....!

Tried this ROM it works really smooth on the video part.
justxbmcv4 works good too will not passthrough via optical and the only changed I noticed was the static noise is gone and now it is silent and there is occasional pops.
Outside of xbmc the dts passthrough works quite good with mx player from an external samba drive.
Also xbmc will not gve me the choice of player selection. Pressing "C" on keyboard simply says "Play stream", "Download" "Add to Favourites" etc. but nothing on player selection.
Pressing the mouse click holding the same choices. Right clicking using mouse just takes me to back the previous screen.
I like the video quality on this ROM compared it to GEASS custom rom where there was alot of flickering noticed.
Has anyone else other than Tech1 able to get player selection working?

I believe you maybe going about this all wrong, you said noting about setting up the JustXBMC for passthrough via optical in the audio settings area of the "JustXBMC App" ... That has to be done before it will work, also you have to do the very same thing in main Sound Settings of the CS968 ... As far as the drop menu, you have to press and hold on a movie title, try doing it with a left press and hold ... I know nothing about pressing "C" on the keyboard ... What you are looking for is the option "Play Using" ... The options you are getting, I have never ever seen them before, therefore I believe we are using different "JustXBMC.apk's .... Please use the JustXBMC.apk that at the link in post # 1 ONLY .... I will remind you this ROM has the "libmedia.so" hack and the JustXBMC also has the "libmedia.so hack enable, when the digital audio Settings are set up correctly in the JustXBMC audio Settings area for HDMI and SPDIF digital audio pass through ... That's how I know you maybe doing something wrong, concerning the digital audio Settings in the JustXBMC audio Settings area ...!

The "Play using..." option I founded under movie select in movies, press C or in my remote there is a special key.

Try with the XBMC Remote for android, It´s a really good option.
