    OK...gottcha.

I will work on this Jellybean today. Thanks for the feedback.

Btw...I was able to flash the M9 Pro ROMs to me M7 Pro using the M7 Pro kernel and everything worked. Since I don't have an M9 Pro...if you are willing to test and see if it will go the other way.

      Hi Randy!

That very good news, please contact Finless, and made the new rom with all "Finless fine tuning" , and your "taste, or experience " . Thanks for your cooperation.
      Cant wait to see.

I'll never go back to 4.2

(See my earlierposts on testing the first kitkat rom for the M9 Pro)
I will never go back to 4.2. For all its quirks and lacking functionality, it is so much more faster, fluid and above all stable
        than the previous 4.2 roms.

So, I'll wait a little longer and maybe donate a bit more to the fine gentlemen who do the rom cooking to facilitate their work to get a new kitkat rom.

OK, I'm finally getting to this Jellybean update.

What should I call this thing?

                  OK, here it is.....

This ROM has all of the features stated in post #1 for the KitKat ROM...but is based on the new Jellybean firmware dated 3/6/14. I went through and added the tweaks Bob added in his 1.5 ROM.

                  Download

                  Don't forget the beers!!!!!!

I got to thinking...it has always created problems to have discussion of two ROM's on the same thread.

So, to keep from having to wonder if we are talking about Jellybean or KitKat...I created a new thread JUST FOR THE NEW JELLYBEAN ROM.

Further discussion of the Jellybean version should go to this new thread:

Let's keep this thread limited to discussion of the KitKat ROM from here on.

                      Thanks!!!!!

                        M7pro Rom on M9 pro

                        Hi,

I was running Finless 1.5 but have had trouble with it hanging after a few days regularly.

I flashed 2.5.2 KK last night and was very happy with how it was running today, but the idea of having gps hardware not usable seemed like a waste.

So I just took a punt and installed M7pro 2.7 rom on my M9 pro, taking a guess from riley's earlier post that I need to still use the 2.5.2 kernel.

As far as I can see it is all working fine. Screen resolution looks good and I am in the long slow process of doing a titanium restore now.
There must be a better way to get apps restored and setout the same way they were, but I work in mining and am better at dealing with rocks and explosives.

GPS is working well enough, and HDMI is working on my TV.
My boy is just about to test it out with minecraft.

                        A

                          Nice one Andrew!

I am just downloading (M7+M9 ROMs) now, so will give it a go too.

Seems to work well! Quite nice and fluid.
Can't find an option to turn off the mobile data/modem power, like in the previous ROMs, which is a shame.
Other than that, all good, although I will have to put Nova launcher on, as I'm not keen on the stock one, as it is not very customisable.

                              M7pro 2.7 rom on M9 pro

That's good news - thanks for sharing.
However, I wonder if you had a chance to check the battery drain% / durability ...?
                              Thanks
                              /Kastrup

                                M9pro to M7pro

I'm also running the M7pro with the M9pro kernel now. So far so good. Only now I have the wrong bootscreen and in the modelnumber its also an M7.

Can I flash the boot.img only from the M9 to make it an M9pro again?
