Pipo M9 Pro RileyROM 2.5.2 KitKat

You are realising this is a KitKat rom,if yes,read true the whole thread.
This rom flashes a new bootloader and when you want to downgrade after this gives issues.
So,know what you are doing especialy when your are a newbie,be WARNED !!!!

I did read the whole thread, thank you for the advice.
I'm not planning to downgrade anything after this, as I believe that only subsequential and improved KitKat roms will come out (and I don't even make such a big use of the tablet).

So, I got this problem while running the RKAndroidTool that I downloaded from another site (as suggested by you).

I see only two files there, so I'm kinda clueless right now. What should I do?

I redownloaded it and even disabled my anti-virus (just in case it was detecting any sort of problem and therefore deleting the .exe file), but nope, nothing.

Because I just redownloaded the file that is in the OP and I can't find it anywhere (much less inside the "RileyROM" folder).

It's in the ROM folder as ROM FLASH TOOL 1.37
Did you extract the zip?

I guess that's just the Instructions file that needs to be updated, since I was looking for the file with the exact name that is specified in the Instructions file.

That's the flash tool in the root folder of the ROM kit.

Thanks Riley,that's what i'm telling him,see several posts above,i think finaly he get's it.
Dind you got tired to answer allover the same questions,he said i've read true the tread but can't even find the flashtool in your rom.
Especialy i download your rom to verify and yes the Flashtool is there,witch i knew before,but just checking
I am wondering,he want to flash this rom as a newbie an wondering where he ends. I told hem the risks.

Working CWM for Pipo M9 pro - Kitkat

Hi.. Riley.... I had been following you and Bob closely at these forums. Thanks for your efforts for furnishing such cool ROMs....I stumbled upon a working CWM for Pipo M9 Pro.... that works seamlessly with Kitkat... personally tested it myself... not sure on Jelly Bean 4.2 ROM though... For those who understand.. you may go ahead and download the recovery image from the link given below.... then use RK tools [ROM flash tool] as provided with Riley's Kitkat ROM....

1. Download the recovery Image from the link below

2. Ensure that all the options are unchecked...except sl no 1 - loader and sl no 6 - recovery
Please Ensure that loader (Sl No 1) and recovery (Sl No 6) is kept selected

3. Click on the three dots(ellipsis) on the right side of the recovery and select the recovery image you just downloaded

4. Flash ROM

Of, all of the Pipo tablets...I don't actually have an M9 Pro. I do my ROM testing on the M7 Pro, which is very close. Finless has the M9 Pro for his use....so no, I haven't tested it.

So, it isn't specific to the M9 Pro? That should mean it could work on other Pipo KitKat ROM's, as well?
