Pipo M6 Pro RileyROM 1.7 KitKat

TWRP is an alternative to CWM Recovery. It's more graphics based and works better with the touch screen. It does a whole lot more than CWM does.

I've included it in the preinstall folder, which will install it after the first boot. This is a test version provided by abdul_pt, our new TWRP developer.

I thought it was in this thread, but I can't find it. Didn't someone discover a solution to making multi-user work in Kitkat? I'll check the other KitKat threads and see if I can find it. That's one thing I want to include in this ROM.

OK, I finally finished the beta version.

This new ROM is based on the update from Pipo posted above.

Rooted
Not debloated (nothing really to debloat)
Init.d support added to run scripts
Auto Install added on first boot
TWRP recovery automatically installed on first boot
Turned up wifi power
Added patch to improve deep sleep

I'm still trying to find the solution for multi-user, and a new set of boot screens.

As far as the firmware goes, it's the same KitKat with inclusion of GPS support.

Randy, correct me if I'm wrong: but also in this case it is NECESSARY TO FLASH THE LOADER, because in this new version of KitKat the loader has been upgrade with a newer one (2.09)

I did and it boots fine. I didn't try it with the old loader. That's why I checked it by default.

IT boots, noticed some errors just after flashing on first boot after flash as it were
it jumped to CMW ? and tryed mount 3 points witch were not mountable? i never seeen were to it was to fast all soo some google play service crashed when i tryed to sign in to my account all good apart from that

google calinder google search gmail could all do with updating and quick office is this illlagle ?

After all the apps update you should Play Store work. I noticed the mount error from Stock Recovery, too.

I'm away attending my son's basketball game, so I will test more later.

Try out TWRP. It is pretty cool.

Hey Randy, your beta 1.8 is strangely slower on boot wrt stock... 45sec vs 34sec

hi randy i just tried twrp and i could not reboot back into system but everything else on twrp works fine

keep up the good work
