I keep getting boot loop or it will run for a lil bit then rebook and stay on the penguins and stay stuck there.

Seems your box don't like the overclocked kernel.
I will provide a version with stock speed and only vsync fix later.

So if you switch back to stock rom everything works again?

I am having the same problems. I have SKU 164467.

I left the device running for about an hour on the penguins, and when I tried to remove the power cable the device was almost too hot to touch. :-S

But you got the device running before?
You can clock CPU down to 1600 under settings, pureXBMC, performance.
I will upload new non over clocked version this evening.

Yes, I have had the device running for months.

Yesterday I wanted to try your rom (which looks amazing), and I tried several times to boot the device after flashing it. All of the attempts were unsuccessful, so I could not change any settings.

Ok, that's what i want to know.
So you flashed pureXBMC and can't get it working and later back to geekbuing stock rom and everything is running again?

Yes, I guess there will be no problems in returning to stock firmware, but I think I will wait for the non-overclocked version from you :-)

I will try it when/if you get it done, and report back to you immidiately.

Yeh when I switch back everything works. The original v1.1.1 works but not the controller.

Quite strange cause the first version of my rom had an overclocked kernel with the same speed too.

For the new version of the rom i took kernel from this stock rom:

Can you confirm that this rom is the rom with working remote you use on your box?

Yes that's my stock ROM. I notice that the first version u made didn't have the penguins the second and new version had reboots and all went to the penguins.

Build a new version with kernel_1080_vsfsam_cpu1608h_gpu600_ddr667.
Stock kernel/gpu is to slow playing 1080p files with real 1080p kernel.

Please try it. Important: At Rockship Batch Tool press Restore, not Upgrade, just for sure ;-)

Cause the first version with "kernel_1080_vsfsam_cpu1800h_gpu600_ddr720" runs with your device,
the problem might be anything else, not sure. Changed nothing except the new kernel.

Flash the ROM and works good. I only see 2 lil bugs... 1) when put to sleep it comes right back up and when put to sleep again doesn't come back on ...I have to unplug 2)when put in passtru it keeps cutting on and off but plays good with movies just when when not playing a movie its on and off a lot.
