I eliminated the use of wifi completely. You can use a long ethernet wire. Or you can do what I did. Since 2 years, I have a small router which receives wifi and broadcasts wifi (it has an ethernet port which company said is only to receive ethernet from main router), link given. It was lying waste in my house, and I was thinking of buying the long ethernet wire. Because my router can give out only wifi output, it was not much use as speeds remained dismal. Last sunday, I sat reading up how to receive wifi and output ethernet from router when I chanced upon Openwrt. Little piece of remarkable software that we costum flash on the router and it gives much more configurations and power, I found a youtube video, on how to install it on my router and bridge the incoming wifi with outgoing ethernet ( factory sent box has weak software which does not allow this, even the company guys told me its not possible. But I managed to get it working. So now my router receives wifi, and outputs ethernet through the small wire that came free when I got my wifi connection. I have switched wifi off. And get 35 mbps from a 50mbps which is perfect because ethernet directly from my main router gives 43mbps. So I am all set. You can goto openwrt website and see which routers they offer compatibility with before buying.

I gave that tv box yesterday to my brother and by accident he plugged a 12v power adapter!
Can someone please help me to identify this chip of the pcb !
Mine it has no letters (i don't know if someone else's have !)
I can't find/identify it with no way!
Maybe it has and other components faulty but this is definitely have burned!

3 months earlier i burn power management chip of my h96 max x2 tv box...
Finally after so long time i took in my hands the pcb of an h96 pro+ with an identical chip!
The 2 chips were not writing the same things but i suppose they have the same values because at the end everything is working again as it should!
There was nothing else with problem in the pcb and now the tv box is working 100%!
I'll upload the 2 chips to help and others and maybe someone help us to find them in the market!
Also i want to say that soldiaz was right and the values were written on the bottom of the chips!

Yes, I use firmware X96 Max 2/16 to flash H96 Max X2 2/16 and it success 100% but do not have wifi, may be their wifi chipset are different. I just want to know if any people using H96 Max X2 2/16 can success to reflash stock firmware of it, I can not
