Dear principle's and Partners at Cloudnetgo,Dongguan Sonicway Electrical Appliance Co.,LTD, Hongkong huanyu International Industrial ltd

We have considered selling your product line CR11S 3188 arm chipset tv box but we have a few questions that we need you to confirm before we do.

1- The processer you are using as "advertised" is the 3188 arm chipset, I have been informed that your unit actually has a 3188T arm chipset. Please confirm what the actual chipset is.

2- We can not afford a lawsuit over the issue of the chipset so has to be confirmed and we will return any not as advertised.

3- The main board we have been told there is 4 different releases for this product please confirm the type of board that will be shipped with the order we make.

Letter in detail Items left out geek buying and major chains an their policy regarding mis represented products It is very clear and policy for action taken against any violators is very clear. It clearly states its a 3188 not a 3188T. Ill post once they respond. ( point simple one they don't want customers not returning to their sites for other products because misrepresentations.)
Many devices now mk902ii/Shield/Mk68 /Ugoos/neox5/minix5 (yes they still work lol) mk80 no it doesnt work lol.

Tried sam321 1.9ghz kernel on my Model T spu and it worked perfectly without issue so there clearly a huge gap between Model T cpu which makes one barely able to do 1.4 and another to over clock perfectly.

22134 with neomode beta 2.1 rom for the mk802IV.

Weirdly i can't load neomode 1.7 rom as it gives a download fail but the beta solid and i just changed th perimeter file to get proper app storage size.

No screen shot option in it or shutdown button but both are easily gotten around tell he done the final.

I get none of the flicker or stability problems others are seeing.

New guy here. I purchase the Tronsmart CX-919 about 2 weeks ago and received it earlier in the week. It worked good out of the box except I noticed 1080P was not really 1080P and then discovered this forum after some research. I ended up flashing the stick the day I received it with the "Stock" 1080P firmware posted on the Geekbuying.com site under Drivers.

The screen (Samsung 27" Computer Screen) remained blank after this and I reflashed it with the "Stock" 720P firmware on the Geekbuying site. Upon rebooting I noticed the HDMI flickering issue. After many trial and errors I determined the best setup at the moment for me is:

Neomode 1.9a with Kernel 3. It is flicker free and after setting Video Overlay to 1 in build.prop and rebooting I connected it to my video projector and it looked really sharp to the point where I am almost tricked to believe it is 1080P. I guess the true test is changing the text size to small to confirm.

I tried fineless 1.6b and the intro animation looks cheesy / amateurish and I get HDMI flickering even when I downclock with Antutu. Neomode's intro animation looks much more legit. (I'd prefer not to see penquins or some weird cartoon robot boom box or whatever it is with flickering lights when the device boots). When I connect the stick directly to the HDMI port the flickering is much less frequent but there is still a minor flicker every 10-15 seconds or so - though it is much better.

Neomode 1.7 with Sam123 kernels would not work for me at all since I get a USB timeout error when trying to flash.

I have flashed this Tronsmart CX-919 ver. 2.2 stick (manufactured in middle October 2013) so many times now it's nuts. I am still happy with the device because it was only $62 and seems to work well. It has a lot of potential it would be a pity if these little issues cannot be resolved.

The space mouse remote thing works awesome.

Wifi streaming via XBMX exhibited buffering issues at times right out of the box and I have not tested it yet with Neomode 1.9a. Will check that this weekend. I was able to play a 1080P MKV movie directly off the internal memory smoothly (almost as smooth as my PC but not quite as good) out of the box - but the image quality was not on par with my Computer (VLC Player) when flicking video sources back and forth. Probably because it was 720P.

Playback often depends on the player and there quite a few of the like mx or archos.

I tend to use plex to stream to the device and have no problems.

There also bob new kitkat based rom thats 1080p and have both 720p and 1080p over clocking kernels.

Plex works great. I was able to stream a 1080p movie via a 12 year old Pentium 4 Plex Server last night to my parent's Roku that was connected to my projector. I was amazed at how well it worked and had my doubts initially if the machine would be fast enough. I had read that a lot of video processing occurs on the Plex Server - not sure how it works. Seems to me I could dedicate an old computer as a Plex server in the basement and free up newer computers.

XBMC has a lot of promise but if the community can't resolve driver issues Plex will become the standard if it hasn't already. I just wish plex supported iso files. Plex is handsdown more user friendly than XBMC!

Plex can do a lot of video processing but it depends on the device and these devices don't require major amounts.

Nice thing about plex is it basically does all the work for you in cataloging your media and streaming it.

There also streaming it outside your home to your phone or tablet too so i call plex a good buy.

Only problem with the sticks is you tend to have to hit play twice for some odd reason.
Once in the description when your chose and then down at the bottom when the onscreen controls pop up but that a very minor issue.

Yeah i got a slightly older machine running freenas and the plex plugin and 16 terabytes of media

Xmbc well get there but it tends to take time wot work out all the bugs do to its nature but that same nature means they never truely get stuck.

I don't know if this makes any difference but the MK802IV that I'm having issues flashing older bootloaders (1.2-1.24) is a 16GB version with early 2014 production date. Any attempt to flash older bootloader results in the device being unrecognized by PC. Only fix to this is to flash in MASK ROM mode with firmware with newer 2.0 or newer bootloader.

to rgb: Kernel 3 is in fact 1080p so your guess about looking nearly like 1080p was correct see nemode annotation http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...-1-9a-*UPDATE*

I know it is supposed to be a 1080p kernel. That's why I flashed it and edited the build.prop file. However I read in one of the threads that Neomode himself said 1080p is not possible with 1.9a. And when I had the device hooked up to my computer monitor it looked a little too blurry to be true 1080p - even though the monitor was in 1080p mode. However once I hooked it up to my projector and had a 150" image on the wall it looked 1080p. I will play with it more to confirm. The real test is what does small fonts look like. If it looks pixelated then it is not true 1080p.

Update: I don't believe the resolution is 1080P with Kernel 3 because when I take a screenshot only a 720P image is created and not the full screen is captured:
