I will work with Dee and see if we can patch this!
Because it's compile time it wont be easy to find so I am going to ask Dee for a kernel set to stock value and then another set to 1.8V. I will decompile both and find the location.

Help me please, i have a mk908II, with NEOMODE's app says its real RK3188, but in kitkat finless 2.0, with no kernel i was able to get more than 1.4ghz. Can anyone tell me why, or witch kernel should i use? Thanks.

NEOMode's app doesn't work. I have his source code and I'll fix it but:

1. I have a ridiculously long list of things people would like already
2. Bob needs my support which comes first
3. The hotel I'm staying in this week blocks the HDMI ports so I can't work on my hobby in the evenings

Can someone that know's what they're doing with flashing kernels, flash this test 4.2.2 kernel and if it boots post me the DMESG? It is supposed to be a 'stock' TV Box Jelly Bean kernel but with my code to dump the eFuse registers. Flash your normal kernel back after the test.

If it works we can detect T-kernels without having to open the box.

Please dont flash this if you are not 100% happy about flashing and restoring your current 4.2.2. kernel for this quick test. Imagine the worst!

I'm unable to run any test myself until Friday night and this is my first JB kernel.

No, choice d33.
Your JB kernel doesn't boot stock rom for cs968. Flashing was fine without error, after that formatting in the stockrecovery works, then reboot into black screen.

I did - Jdefense has already tested and it didn't boot. I'm going to get Lew20041 to help me build the kernels and the app.

I suspect that GPU limitation is in the precompiled into the Mali driver that we don't have source for. You can test this out if you like to prove me right/wrong.

Find a really old ROM and grab the two mali drivers from sys/modules, then rename the ones in your current ROM and copy the old ones in their place.

Bob was going to look at this too but we've all a lot on, and a minor increase in GPU makes very little difference.
