You need to install ehome media center app from rockchip-apps.zip in the download section. Download it, unzip, and install eHome Media Center.

Been using this rom for a couple of weeks now, and i must say,
i really like it.
Thanks for this great rom !
But i'm having some random freezes in Beyond XBMC that completly freeze my X7, i have to pull out the power supply to reboot. i don't know if this is rom related or XBMC
and something else: after a couple of minutes of inactivity on eg. the homescreen my x7 seems to go in some sleep mode. is there any way to turn this off ?

For the sleep issue look for a setting in developer options that says stay awake while charging.

If this was for me: no I don't i use the kernel from this rom.

Yes, it was for you, sorry but I only experience freezes in xbmc just at the film start, only a couple of seconds, and only if the video have digital sound and passthought active, using the Rom I experienced too some little freezes while Google play is updating or installing apps, and of course only a second too this happens to me with all roms, but a total hang, not. I am using 1700cpu 720ddr kernel now, and beyond xbmc 3.2 (not updated to 3.3 yet).
Maybe you can test this setup, and tell me if it works well for you.

Don't bother updating to 3.3 mate. It was only for people who had problems with common plugin cache at the time which should have updated your end automatically by now.

Somehow when i try to start up superSU it says it need to be updated but when i do it says update fails and shuts down.
Also, i downloaded an app to check if my minix is rooted but then it says its not rooted.
tincore quickflasher says the same when i start this up..
can someone help pls?

I updated supersu and 0 problems, of course if supersu update proccess fail you can loose root. You only need to install from cwm this zip:http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu
