Minix Neo X7 Quickshot v2 Rom by The Nitro Team

Google Play Music All Access does not work properly on this rom/kernel, but works probably on 4.4.2 wasser. Can anyone make a rom THIS smooth, that let's me use my paid Google Music subscription?

Problem: Song will play, but NEXT song will have an error and won't play (this is an issue on ALL roms other than 4.4.2 by wasser)

only if you have cwm installed and only if your actual rom is quickshot v1 or minix official 008.

Just done some testing with network.

Cable internet access test.

Wifi connection to router 25Mbps
Cable connection to router 65Mpbs

Also some apps/games don't detect a cable network etc "despicable me" game.

Oh my laptop wifi is 65Mbps

My bad... Ipad running at 25Mbps.. So looks like it's the wifi's limit on both devices.

Will we get 720p kernel? My brother has JDX GamePad 3 whoch has same cpu,gpu and RAM i believe. With stock rom and only 1,4ghz he gets more 3D points when benchmarking. 720p kernel would be really nice for gaming purposes, we could use then force antialiasing in dev settings. It almost does not affect the performance. So graphics are still nice and looks even better then 1080p in some way.

XBMC is Closing

Maybe this was already posted but there is so many pages sorry for that.........

I just installed your rom. Did all what had to be done for installation but when trying to play movie in XBMC the App is closing.

installing Beyond XBMC 3.3 does the same thing.

Any help please...........

ive been reading this thread,my xbmc lags before exit beta 3.3 none launcher. ive not had it long so just been playing with it this is whats on it

baseband ver unknown ( WHYS THAT )
kernel version 3.0.36+
build number rk31sdk-eng-4.2.2-jdq39-eng-root-20131227-154530 test keys
vendor software ver 2013-12-27-4-2008

first it didnt come with a backup image so how do i make a image whats on it now and will it save Ethernet drivers. so if i flashed it i could always go back to whats on it.
i have never flashed a rom before so ive been reading this i have 008 on it so can i just update with sd card our do i have to put ver 1 on first. from reading the post a fresh pc install seem better plus i have that airpin thing so do i install that separately just a few thing before i do anything and brick it thanks.

Something is wrong, maybe bad flash, what hernel are you using?

thanks for your reply got the answer to baseband. but cannot find the minix website so i dont know if im running latest image any pointers please. plus how do i make a image whats on the box now, i need a backup in case something goes wrong thank you.

HDMI passthrough works well

I did flash this rom today. And I am very happy with it.

I read this whole thread and I don't understand the problems that some people have with DTS and HDMI passthrough. If you have dissorted noise out of your speakers then you have selected the wrong sound device in Sound settings. I think I selected the second one from the bottem in settings. Just try them one by one.
InXBMC set audio to digital and sound device to ....blabla PT, can't remember the technical mambojambo for passthrough.

And I read one post here a couple of pages back. There was the solution to this presented. I thik I have just that settings. I you still have problems with passthrough, then it must be something else, and not this ROM. Maybe your mkv? (TrueHD is not supported). CAbles right? Connections made right?

And I am using the XBMC from the first post. Removed the one in the ROM. Installed the updated one.

And guess what...... You got Full 1080p MKV with 5.1 DTS sound out of your system. And I am even streaming it over my router. (wired from Minix to router to PC with Wifi n 300 Mb/s.). Remember that you push your system to the limits by playing 1080p and DTS movies. So everything must be set up right.

No 7.1 true hd..... no. Hey don't push it too far. This is what you bought.

bluetooth wifi not working

I use stock firmware for 1 month now decided to flash qs v2 rom very great and stable rom very happy with this rom I use 1080 quickflash 1700 stock gpu 720 quick flash also small icons

But problem recently I check my wifi and bluetooth is not working how to fix this guys thank you in advance

This ROM is for the NEO x7... if you have a NEO x7 mini... you need the other ROM they have listed.
