How to remove cwm fo ra clean install of quickshot
Howdy,
I installed quickshot v2 using cwm. However the previous firmware was the hybrid firmware from lewy. Im worried that it might not be a "good" install of quickshot. A symptom I found was that my sdcard memory was not accessible after install. I had to go into cwm and format it as just trying to mount would not work. I would like to do a clean install of quickshot to make sure everything is installed as it should be however I dont know how to get around the cwm bootmenu to do a install via the usb cable. Holding the reset button just causes the cwm menu to come up.
Thoughts on how either verify my quickshot install is "good" partition size wise ans such or how to do a clean install?

From lewy rom we suggest a clean instal from pc erasing idb, not from cwm. The easiest way to enter in loader mode is open terminal emulator and write:Originally posted by Knightmare View Post

Then your pc must sound like a dong, install the drivers open rkandroidtool included with the Rom, erase idb, and run to flash the device.
After the flash proccess finish, wait 5-10 minutes until you disconnect it from pc.

My apologies if i overlooked a previous post but I was wondering if i could use one of Finless 720p OC kernels. Currently my X7 is connected to a 720p screen and maybe this would then be the best combination.Comment

we are doing some test to provide 720p kernels.
Here is a 720p cpu 1608 gpustock ddr 720 for those who want to try it. This one is actually flashed on my box and working as expected
IT MUST be flashed by using the pc method, just uncheck all but kernel and select this file.

Hi. Thank you for this beauty. Took me ages to find good rom with smooth xbmc playback. I got mk 802 rk3188t and it's working like a charm. I think otg doesn't work but that's ok. I also bought pro version of flashing app. Thanks.

I dont play with those low oc ones, but will try for sure, maybe I will get near same performance on 3D. Will inform you and maybe someone could provide another link?
