    Just tested Neomode 2.1.
My MK809III now clocks from 312Mhz to 1.61Ghz with this rom.
    Version 2.1 Antutu score 17041, Version 2.0 was 16993 and 1.9a was 15290
Wireless is strong, link speed is 65Mbps. Wired keyboard and mouse work fine.
Bluetooth not working right for me, my Bluetooth keyboard is listed as an available device and I can pair it but even though my Bluetooth mouse is listed as an available device, clicking it to pair it does nothing. Both worked fine in Neomode 1.9a
Bluetooth icon not staying blue. When it does the keyboard is erratic, sometimes repeating the same keystroke over and over then the keyboard loses connection, unpairing then pairing will make it work for a few seconds.
WiFi seems to lose connection while pairing the keyboard.
Internet Speedtest result is full ISP bandwidth of 20 Mbs, ping 19ms.
Setting to 1080p gives green pixel like artifacts running through the screen on my Samsung LCD tv. In 720p Netflix plays smooth but has a very random flicker.
Icons are smaller than in 1.9a. Not sure how to change the size.
    WiFi chip:
    AP6210
    TOD5007
    1321
    Pics of my board:

Thats the question I would like to have an answer for.
I can see from his post that flickering and blinking was there even after flash of this combo. And real solution was to put the stick into the tv without hdmi cable.
I am the case of the heavy blinking I have found the rom which doesnt blink at all. So I am quit happy now but I will do the test for myself :-)
My experience is that either kernel stop blinking completelly or not at all. Stock roms dont blink at the moment even overclocked. I hope that some user kernel will not be blinking as well.

Hi! I have great news! THANKS TO TVDROID
The screen stop flickering (go off, go on every 3-4sec) by connecting the TV STICK DIRECT TO THE TV (Without cable)!.

But I have tested a lot of combo and I can't reach a perfect solution...
          1) Finless 1.6 Rom + 1080P Sam kernel (1.8ghz, 1.4ram as tvdroid)
          2) HYBRYD ROM 1.7 + 1080P Sam kernel (1.8ghz, 1.4ram as tvdroid)
          3) Neotv CROM 2.1 (BETA) + Overclocked KERNEL with rkpatchomatic (1.9GHZ CPU - 798MHZ GPU - DDR800 RAM)

In all case now the screen doesen't disappear now ( ) ; but remains like a blinking problem...
The last combination is the more stable, because the blinking appears less often; probably due to 798mhz GPU...? Do you know how to completely stop this blinking/distorcing?
          Thanks.

LOL, I think ur the droid I'm looking for...
Thanks for the info. Just flashed Neo's 1.7 and 1080p 1.8ghz ram 1400mhz kernel. So far, so good. Bluetooth is fine. WiFi is good. Netflix is good in 720p. 1080p exhibits the same problem as always, haven't noticed any flickering:

It Clocks from 312Mhz to 1800Mhz.
Initially Antutu would not complete, even though there is a stock heat sink. Used CPU Master to cut the max clock to 1704Mhz. Antutu scored 19094. I took the case off and set the clock back to 1800Mhz. Antutu completed with a score of 19842. I placed a dual fan hard drive cooler so it is blowing on the heat sink. Antutu scored 19937.
            EDIT:
Previous Antutu scores using Neomode roms:
            Version 2.1 Antutu score 17041, Version 2.0 was 16993 and 1.9a was 15290

Do you think this heat sink would be overkill?

**I forgot to mention I used the 6gb pattern file as well.
            EDIT:
After using for a bit, I notice random flickering.

Just to add a detail, the screen stability of my system results really improved if I set the cpu clock freq. to never slow down toward the minimum allowed (312MHz).
As a fact, if I leave 312MHz as the minimum frequency, the screen occasionally shows random blinks (it turns off and back on in a couple of seconds). But if I set 1008MHz or more as the minimum frequency, the system does not show any blink or flicker at all!
Thus, for what I've observed, I cannot agree with your sentence:

All this is indeed strange, but it happens!

              Cheers

If you tried so many combinations, please try, kernel (JB not kitkat) from post #199 http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...l=1#post138787 with whatever 4.2 1080p rom, i use neomode 1.9a. I am just curious if blinking and flickering would be gone.

Hi; I have tried the combo as suggested from you..
Neocrom 1.9a + Kernel linkend in your post (1.6ghz cpu, stock gpu and ddr 667)...
Now, the good news is that there isn't any blinking/distorting problem; but otherwise NO OVERCLOCK.
Simply it runs at 1.4ghz max -.-

I noticed that the neocrom 1.9a use the 2.07 Loader as the neocrom 2.0... In that case overclock is always not working; for example I tried to make an overclocked version of the neocrom 2.0 kernel; and If I use a kernel with cpu over 1.6ghz ì... the cpu will run at 1.2ghz... or If I use a 1,4ghz cpu kernel or above it will run at 1.2 - 1.4ghz -.-
IMHO I think that the problem is related to the compatibility between Loader 2.07 and overclocked kernel? or sam overclocked kernel???

With the crom 2.1, or finless 1.6b or Hybrid rom 1.7, wich uses LOADER 1.24 (or 1.20), the overclocked kernel works with any frequencies you want! But there is the flickering distorting problem (and the screen disappear and re-appear with the hdmi cable ), so you have to connect the stick direct to the hdmi port.

                        Now I'm trying again neocrom 2.1 + overclocked kernel with 1.8ghz , 800mhz gpu and ddr667...
I noticed that overclocking the gpu makes my stick more stable... why?
Now I want to try if stock ddr frequencies is good or not

Sure! You can download it Here:

The original kernel come from the Crom Neotv 2.1; it works for loader 1.24/1.20 I believe...
I overclocked the kernel with rkpatchomatic tool; they are 1,9ghz Cpu, 798mhz Gpu and DDR freq between stock to 800. Try it

                            ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Every overclocked kernel I'm testing have this blinking/flickering/distorting problem (but not black screen if the tv stick is directly connected to the tv hdmi port..)... and overclocking also the gpu make hdmi more stable...

Also I noticed that the overclocking kernel only works with 1.20/1.24 loader (ex: finless rom 1.6 or neotv crom 2.1, hybrid rom 1.7).... and they simply don't work (no boot) with loader 2.07 (ex neotv crom 2.0 or 1.9a)... if I try to use their original kernel but overclocked with rkpatchomatic, they works without any flickering/blincking problem... but no overclock! or locked to 1.2ghz....

                            So any ideas?

What am i doing wrong, i have a RK3188 no T at the end, and 1320 on the wifi module, but i can not get any neomode rom working, all roms give me no wifi.

Has anyone managed to get the firmware on the same spec stick i have with the same numbers.

                              Thanks

Well Sir, i would say your Wifi Module is either broken or it use a different
                                GPIO Point.

I think it is a different GPIO Point.
