That's awesome, I may actually flash your ROM.

Also --- I think I found info about the ROM that was mentioned a few pages back. The mediafire link is dead, but searching the filename brings up one that was uploaded "2013-11-8". Googled the link to the file and found some information:

    Updated: 2013.11.5
update_mk808b_425j2424_overseas <---This is the one mentioned a few pages back, seems to be for MediaTek WiFi just as mo123 suspected, with a bug fix for something relating to BlueTooth
Customer: Neutral Overseas / motherboard with MTK WIFI module

This was all translated from Chinese --- it all makes sense though. Long story short, the ROM posted on Geekbuying blog in November seems to be the most up-to-date 4.2 ROM for a non-clone MK808B.

The Uhost 2 uses different GPIO pins for wifi than MK808b even though it's the same wifi chip, so it won't work properly. Also the new Uhost2 and MiniX Neo X5 boot.img don't work properly on MK808B, havn't got it to work yet. Maybe with the correct combination of boot and kernel it might work.

I also got RK3188 boot images to work correctly on my MK808B, so basically different devices's software work on more than one device as the hardware is only slightly different.
I also got the early MiniX Neo X5 kernels to boot on my MK808B but not the new ones.
To make wifi work only require 1 or 2 changes in the kernel source files, but most developers are too busy creating new roms and there is also the problem with too many of these 'clone' devices that pop up with new wifi chips everyday. Testing the different kernels and settings also take huge amounts of time and you have to deal with black screens and unbootable devices.

^After overwriting the old Prahjister ROM V1.0 CWM MK808B kernel with this one, will I still need to use the libstagefright update afterward? Thank you, I will be trying this ROM very soon.

                          Awesome.

I've been using v1.0 for the past few days, and it's smoother and more stable for me than Finless 2.1 was. I was able to get an older version of Netflix working fine, and Beyond XBMC mostly working. I'm very impressed.

I'm still having two problems: (1) no bluetooth - maybe that'll be fixed tomorrow?, and (2) I can't get my wired xbox 360 controller working - do I need the xpad.ko file for that? Maybe a different kernel?

Anyway, thanks for your good work. If you know anything about the kernel or the xbox controller, I'd be glad to know it.

I flashed the version 1.0 for mk808b with cwm after wiping data all went well but after reboot i couldn't get passed the android screen. Any suggestions?
Can the kernel with 100%gpu be flashed to stock jb 4.2.2?
                              Thanks

Any chance of getting this to work with Uhost 2 and have BT with wifi? There are different version of the wifi for Uhost 2 AFAIK.

Anyways thanks for taking the time to make the rom.
