3.1 working but 5.1 not, if I remember correctly I had once 5.1 but had in sound setting passthrue... but video is n°1.

As I said, pass through requires Android support, kernel can passthrough, Android can't.

I imagine if someone looks through the Rockchip android sources for libmedia.so they will be able to patch

Can anyone compile Android 4.4 for Rockchip from the leaked source code even if it's not booting?
All the Rockchip wifi patches are available for JB and would probably also work on KitKat with little or no changes.
Only about 5 compiled *.ko files then need to be replaced in another KitKat rom from Bob together with the wifi modules and the KitKat kernel with your wifi from d33 then wifi will work on more devices with this kernel.

I'm sure someone will do it for you. I currently generate 18 kernels per release. I think that's my bit done, don't you?

Not trying to iritate. Yes you've done plenty. It was a suggestion as 1.8GHz is a little hot for even a traditional RK3188 non-t. Another option is of course having the default selection of cpu speed to be 1.6 instead of 1.8 and allowing adjustment via something like Nofrills CPU if possible.

I tend to agree 1.6 is a safe bet.
