Crap! 7am, gotta get ready for work... :-/

If you want to try one more before I get ready for work let's do it. I get back home around 6pm EST and can continue if you're up for it. I'm a bit tired... but happy we got wifi up and running! :-D

EDIT: Left stick with VNC, ADBWifi and SSHDroid running NOW THAT WE HAVE WIFI! WOOT! I can still debug once in a while from work.

I'm out of thoughts really. Will revert to GPIO3_C7 for BT power but that is debug 6 really.

You can try with 3.1 ROM now - edit note the CPU is overclocked now and working

        1.6 / 600 / 720

Yes, I saw that on No-Frills software, 1.6 is available, awesome! I have heat sinks on my sticks.
For NCR 3.1 we would probably have to wait when I get back because we don't know if the stick will have wifi for me to remote into it.

              Just downloaded debug8.
              I have mk809iii with 3188T cpu.
Just saw m4f1050 replied he now can set cpu to 1.6GHz.
Do you know he has the same CPU is me? Max i could set was 1.4Ghz always.
Cant upgrade this kernel now (im at work) but will do that once i home.
If WiFi works - will be avaible to make bluetooth ON too?

              Regards,

              Benobi
The kernel defaults to 1.6 and the GPU and DDR are overclocked too. Nothing needs to be done.

              BT is not working yet

                        10

So far no-one has overheated at 1.6/600/720 so I wouldn't worry!

Can you tell me whats your AnTuTu result?
Did you try this kernel with 1.6GHz setting? (how movies work)...

                          Regards,

Great, can you also make OC version with a little more overclocked gpu and ddr?
                            I will test it ...

                              Thank you!!

                              D33,
I just want to make sure you didn't misunderstand my situation and I am not wasting your time with my dmesg outputs.
Everyone else seems to be having issues with their Wifi/BT chipset except me.
My Wifi/BT always worked with any kernel (including yours) officially supprots AP6210.
I only would like to have 1366x768 resolution what is my TV-s native resolution.
Using my laptop with Win7, EDID info gets to Win7 and the preferred 1366x768 resolution is automatically activated.

                              Thank you

Kitkat Kernels for All (well most!)

                                Nag per,

As explained a page or two back. Excuse me if I'm telling you things you know already

                                1. Desktop resolution is not the same as HDMI output resolution

                                2. Currently I can select 1920*1080 desktop or 1280*720

                                3. I specify acceptable HDMI resolutions in source code.

                                4. The HDMI driver requests CEA compliant HDMI modes from the device. If none are returned it assumes the device is a DVI device and accepts DMT but switches off audio
                                - 1366*768 is a DMT standard
                                - 1920 and 1280 are CEA

                                5. I can force DMT HDMI modes but I lose CEA modes

                                6. EDID information returned from a device is grouped into CEA and DMT

Given that far more people want CEA modes I'm not doing 5

Also the desktop will be scaled at that resolution and so will look poor

The best solution will be to make a dedicated kernel with a 1366*768 desktop and forced DMT HDMI option to match.
