Neomode Custom Rom MK809III Version 3.1 Android 4.4.2 *Update*

Hello!. i would like to know if someone could Help me...

I have 2 of this devices... one worked fine (no problems and came with android 4.4) . But the other one came without Firmware installed.

I have spent plenty of my time Reading about flashing and this stuff....


After all I know this...

1. Is a Cx 919
2. Rk3188T
3. the wifi module is rtl8723bs


I found a Rom that make the defective stick to turn on and "works"... but is in Jelly Bean, there are a lots of red dots in the screen, and theres a flickering in the sound.

I need this Stufff..

1. Is there a Rom for this device with 4.4 avaiable for download and install ?
2. I readed a lot and understand that this ROM works for me, but... how? how i can flash only a kernel?
3. Witch Software do you recommend to use for flashing my device?
4. Do you believe that red dots in screen is a defective device or firmware?

I use this.

1. Rockchip_Batch_Tool_v1.6 (to flash)
2. Geekbuying_TV BOX_RK3188T_Android 4.4_official_AP6210 (WIFI DOESN´T WORK)
3. The rom that is in this device is: Tronsmart CX-919_4.2_20140725

Hi Guys,

I just flashed the 3.0 version of this ROM on my CX-919. After flashing, the unit starts up, says; "can't find ext_sdcard", then "formatting data", then "formatting cache", then "rebooting". My screen goes black and never boots. Each subsequent power cycle is a black screen. I've reflashed 3 times, any suggestions?

Hello Guys,

Here it is the New Neomode Custom Rom for the MK809III with Android 4.4.2.
Have Tested this Rom and everything Works like it should with MK809III Version 2 & 3.
The Rom comes with a SD Kernel and a DPI Setting of 160 and is Rooted.

Just flashed "ncr_31_mk809III_kitkat" on my new MK809IV "red tab" stick.

Flashing went fine. Flash tool said "Run OK" at the end.

When it boots it gets stuck at 4 penguins. Sometimes it reboots a few times before getting stuck at the four penguins.

Any idea whats causing this. Thanks!

Hello, my MK809III update (on integrated cyx_809III says v5_2 20,141,105) in the hope that does not have automatic restarts and Wireless HD let see ... but after upgrading now not boot.
I also believe that heats more than before.

When starting shows four tux and reboots .. so this becomes more and 1hs.
Any suggestions? Wrong firmware update?

I installed your 3.09 version and its working like a charm ..
I do however have two small issues.. the reboot app does nothing even with full root access. And the screen scaling seems to revert back to standard everytime i turn off and power back on the device.. Is there any way i can get the screen scaler to stay at my selected preference..

If there is no fix i can live with that but truely this is a beautiful rom you have made.

Hello everybody.
I have read a lot about TV Stick and can not find a Rom that is compatible with my MK809iii RK3188T Jesurun 2G 8G with RTL8723.
I could not get root on the original rom then just installed other versions but the performance fell before I had 22,000 points in AnTuTu with other rom I have 15,000.
I want to test this rom neomode 3.1 but the WI-FI does not.
Please neomode you could make a version that supports rtl8723 chip?

I've just bought a MK809III B from DX (about one month ago). It had Android 4.4.2 but it was very slow. Everything (just moving the mouse, and the cursor freezes from time to time). So I tried to find some ROM to fix it.

Tried everything I found, and only your "old version" (NCR_3_...) installed to the end, and opened and run. BUT... without Wifi and BT. I saw that your rom uses RTL8723AU module, but mine is RTL8723BS.

Is this the problem? Are there any ROM of yours that fix it? Or how could I change the .img files from your ROM to make it recognize my wifi and BT chip?

I saw something about (1) Xposed app on android and (2) unpack/repack boot.img and system.img. I still didn't try the first alternative (not at home now), but I'm trying to learn how to adapt your ROM. I already found one 8723bs.ko (module file?), but don't no exactly what changes I must do to make it happens... It takes time to learn...

If someone else knows how to help me... Please, feel at home!

can somebody please upload google play services apk from this ROM? Looks like this app has been crashed and i can't use Goole Play anymore or even add any goole account. Thanks !
