Try to switch to Win7 or find another computer under win7 and you'll be able to flash
Thanks, I try that for sure!
I was also doing this on Win 8.1!
The thing is I have 2 desktops and 1 laptop in the house, all on Win 8!

Run a copy w7 in VMware
Or try on w8 running as administrator and compatibility mode

Waiting patiently for your release Randy

That won't work, i tried. The answer is bit techy, additionally you'll have to disable driver signing in windows if you are running 64bit.
As the title says. Windows 8.1 updated the USB stack and apparently rockchip bootloader is using something from stone ages. End result, Win8.1 will not let you flash anything because it thinks the RK3x88 device is broken. I wasn't sure where to put this but perhaps here most people will see...

Furthermore you'll have to edit the flash tool's ini. Change SUPPORTUSB11= to SUPPORTUSB11=1

It works, i'm flashing my M9 pro with windows 8.1 64bit right now.
But if you dont COMPLETELY understand what you are doing to your windows, grab a spare laptop or or old pc or something and install a 32bit windows 7. It's faster and you won't **** up your windows 8.1 A VM won't work, there is simply no way to connect that non-working usb device to the VM (and i tried for a long time).

Then again, this got nothing to do with this rom, it's a general windows/driver problem. I think any further questions should be posted in a separate thread.

but not tested it on w8.1

Im a VMware certified professional, believe me, it wont work
this is a windows 8.1 specific problem, windows 7 or 8 will work without fiddling around

Does anyone want to test v3.0?

                Download

I haven't been able to boot it on my M7 Pro. I hope it's just a compatibility issue with my tablet.

                  Hi Riley,

Do we have to full wipe or just dirty flash ? Thx.

You got V3 already installed? No glitch when installing?

tried installing this rom and it gave me the android logo with the little red warning sign. Tried to restart but it kept reloading the pipom9 logo and then back to the android error picture. Need help here.
