That sounds like a bad USB connection. Make sure you are using the stock cable that came with the tablet. Try another port. Erasing idb must count all the way to the top number...otherwise it isn't erasing. That's also the reason why the download isn't completing. All else fails, try a different PC.

I'm still looking into the Quickoffice problem.
It works flawlessly on my M6 Pro...I need to test it on my M7 Pro...because I'm running this ROM on it. I will compare the two and try to find what's different.

I've read mostly all this trhead and some questions remains to help deciding to upgrade to kitkat or not.
I have PiPo M9 Pro 3G (I read this rom is fully compatible with 3G) with an old RileyRom :
It is certainly not the "fastest" ROM I've seen but that was the only ROM that support cifs.ko module (I really need this module working) among several ROMs I tested in 2013.Android version 4.2.2
Baseband version UNA
Kernel version 3.0.36+ root@alex-System-Product-Name #371 Tue Nov 19 20:51:55 CST 2013
Build Number rk30sdk-eng 4.2.2 JDQ39 eng.root.20131120.141257 test-keys
So I would need your advice and feedback :
1/ does this KitKat ROM support cifs.ko* ?
2/ is there a special way for upgrading to KitKat from the RileyRom version I run ?
3/ I have titanium backup (paid edition) , can you confirm the option to backup/restore that Riley gave in this thread can be applied to my case ?
Regards,
* If this ROM supports flowessly cifs.ko , be sure I'll donate for it !

Houston, we have a problem!
I wantted to fool around with the RR 2.7 before flashing with comming RR 2.7.3 and change Dalvic to Art. It did the apk upgrading . I then rebooted and it upgraded again. Then something happened and I needed to reboot it using the reboot apk. It got stuck there. I reseted using the back reset hole. Because of a previous encounter with a faulty charger, it goes in to charging mode when I turn it off or reset it. I have to long press the power button to boot it. However, after switching to ART, the power button is not responsive. Basicly, I have a tablet that is stuck in charging mode and I cannot turn it on without using the power button. I am not sure if it will boot to flash mode if I hard reset it with jumping some legs. Any suggestions are welcomed.
