              One thing Ive noticed today is that XVID sometimes freezes visually but sound continues. You have to click forward a bit to get it going. I remember this being a problem on the MX2 Xbmc,

                Yes i have that as well but pause and play also works and is less annoying than forwarding.

                        Wait, it plays H.265 (HVEC) with hardware decoding? I thought that required the Amlogic S812 SoC. That's why I was a bit surprised the box had an HVEC logo but I just figured that was the usual Chinese device marketing BS.

                          It's SW decoding.

                          S812 can support HW decoding.
                          Easy way to catch LOG -> Search 'Syslog' in Google Play,then install it and catch log
