Hi Oman, i have been looking for an xbmc 13.1 gotham and i saw yours and tried it and it works great on my ott 4k m8 tv box. All video accelerations enabled. I have tried other 13.1 out there the video played but blackscreen only. Your updated version work great kudos for your great work

Looking at the Magic (113k4) Eight-ball... The answer is NO!! As the SPMC/XBMC is still stuck at 13.4, as is the Android OS which is still at KOT8H (a.k.a. Nexus 4.4.2),. So no Lolli's to suck on either...

The standard answer probably applies here... Go ask the Plug-in Dev, As neither Oman, nor the XBMC/Kodi Team(s), are responsible for the myriad of Pulgins & Addons.

As to if its "Faster" I doubt anyone here could even give you a definitive answer to such a question as like so many others here, having just the One Box. So probably just as fast either way then..

Do you even have any 4k *.rmvb's? I would point out that its a stupid question, but you've pointed out that you have an S812-H, so Hardware wise you should be golden. AFAIK!
I'd also hitherto suspect that you'd have to take your question back to Minix... Assuming they, unlike their peers... Actually do more with the Amlogic Firmware, then slap on a Boot Logo, and custom skin. To add the eventual *.rmvb codec into the main amcodec. Where Applications such as XBMC/Kodi eventually call upon it.

You might also want to give Antutu Video Tester... a spin. it should play a list of videos... Some of which are in *.rmvb and report on its playback. Assuming your "H" Chip is all that... Those segments should run smooth like silk. Unlike the flip frames I get on my S802 (MXIII)

I just received my Minix the day before yesterday.
Basicly every xbmc version works fine,except BeyoundXbmc[choppy].
I enabled amcodec option every time.When it's disabled hd mkv runs choppy!
Amcodec has some kind of a BUG!
With amcodec enabled when watching 3D mkv[SBS} I can NOT activate 2D mode-aka watching A HALF image in full screen!
So I need overclocking AND NO HDCP! [My Xperia z3 Black gives me a warning when connects via Miracast to Minix]
I'm thinking to try Finless Bob Rom 1.1.
Sadly NO dts-ma and DolbyTrueHd passthrough[eternal Android issue!].No 3d BR playback[weird].

But wifi and Gigabit Lan are GREAT.!

Till now I used a Tronsmart 908 II [RK processor] with Finless Bob Rom 1.6,cpu overclocked,Ram overclocked.The only xbmc version runing smooth was SPMC 1.3.3.Weak wifi,NO lan--I had to "inject" a driver and to put a script in "initD" for getting the ethernet to work[with a LogiLink usb2Ethernet adapter].I was almost happy with my Tronsmart......R.I.P.!

I'm using allready Finless 1.1.
This one resolved all my overclocking issues.
The HDCP issue stays unsolved!

Any plan to update xmbc/kodi newer version? 13.2 works fine fine with Tronsmart Vega S89 S802, actually this is the only version work with s082/hardware decoder.
Due to the old xbmc version, there are some addon crash badly.
SPMC does not work well on the S802 either.
