I bought an X8 coming off of a Tronsmart cx-919. I was seriously disappointed until I flashed this ROM along with the highest CPU fix and the modified Minix XBMC. My initial thoughts were: This is an upgrade from my old device? But with the new rom flashed it really is. I run this thing almost all day every day and it never has an issue. This ROM fixed every issue I was having with the device. Thanks for making my purchase worth it rather than it being a huge let down.

first of all, thanks for this great ROM.
i actually am not sure if the issue i have is from this rom or a Android overall isue.

when i switch off my HDMI then XBMC stops and display settings fall back to 720P instead of 1080P 50Hz.

i have a HDMI Matrix that i use to switch between devices en cinema screen or TV and it seems that the Minix switches back to lower resolution after no signal from or to a HDMI device like a TV.

it is not a problem to switch the resolution but more annoying to do this each time or even multiple times if i use another device to wacht TV with.

i hope someone can help me out or if needed i maybe can log something if i can figure out how.

Go to the display settings and turn off the resolution auto-detection. Then set to 1080p 60Hz (or whatever you want).

This ROM is pretty fantastic and fixes almost all of my issues with the Minix. The only remaining issues I have are NHL GameCentre doesn't play game video at all (doesn't on the stock ROM either). The audio plays, but the screen resets and shows the screen behind it instead of the video, and Netflix still stutters.

Minix released a beta rom today that fixes the netflix stutter, but it also horribly breaks all NFS/SAMBA connectivity.

i'm trying to rooting my X8-H and as any of mine Minix devices, it is not possible to use an SD card.
I have an X5 X7mini and now X8-H.
Can any one tell me which kind of SD is needed ???
Any picture or internet link to check ?

Sorry for the sarcasm, but it is not a smart answer...
I know I could use usb, but they are all busy and i cannot use an usb hub and...

It HAS sdcard reader... I just would like to know which card I should buy to use with Minix devices...
No one could post me a picture of his sd card ? O.o
