Wait for my ROM for that. I think it's time to get rid of the file browser and make that a hide button for the bottom bar. So I agree. Minix did this to theirs but it's a mixed bag on if people like it.

BUG: you are correct, the snap shot settings don't "persist" to remove that from the bottom status bar.
Oman please take note. I will look at it also and see why.


MAN... this ROM really is very good based on my testing so far. I wish I did not have to work tomorrow and play with this more.

BUT I still ask.... 720P patcher? Since I don't have a 720P ONLY TV I do not know if this is still a problem? I know XBMC is fixed for this but as we all know some apps you all use still need true 720P. So I need to know if some still need this patch please.

Yes,720P issue is still no fixed...and I feel there is very few opportunities to fix it.

Shocking how it never dawtned to rockchip that working with the people is so much easier then
against.

This way you have a huge base of testers and modders improving the code at no cost to youself.
Not to mention all the great word of mouth you get for doing so when it improves the product so quickly.

Now if they can get past the manufacturing defects that have popped up its going to make rock chip stand up and take notice how things are done

Yeah looks like its been addressed in a revision already i had bad luck to get one of the older ones.

It looks like a few slipped through to all the different sellers of these boxes..hence the sudden reports of hdmi issues.

Bites for me of course i get to wait a few weeks for a rma replacement.
Better half none to happy about it as it was a birthday gift.

the collaboration here is awesome, I'm so glad I was an early buyer of the Tronsmart M8 round box - it now *almost* works perfectly for my needs under Android (but I could go Linux and then it suits every requirement, except for games).

all I want / need Android to support is auto frame-rate adjust (eg: 50/60/24hz) and I think I'm about done.

I can run XBMC and stream over CIFS/SMB/NFS shares, torrent files direct to my USB NTFS formatted HDD and play games with joypads (but BT PS3 would be the second thing which would be nice to sort out).

Using finless 1.8 on 720 TV with Oman's original xbmc . is the new xbmc apk stanes ? Was using bobs 720 patch . does the new xbmc do away with the need for this patch?

Thank you oman, i have no regrets switching from rk3188 (cozyswan) to beelink mk.

h.265 videos

I have tested some h265 video samples in 720p (108k4 firmware).
xmbc - audio only
4k player - audio+video (not very fluent)
mx player pro - audio+video, quite good quality, after cca 5minutes of playback audio sync issue appeared, also MX player response was very slow

Can someone confirm similar issues?
