My one doesn't really care what we watch as long as it's horror movies .. LOL!
We rarely complete anything cause I'm using tinkering with my MXIII or my other box, so we watch in segments. ��Gotta say the new amlcodec support is ace via 4K player ��

I agree the codec improvements are vast in this release i yet to see any of the old video playback issues or any for that matter.

The added boast to wifi doesn't hurt either.

Plus kodi became final for xmas so its was a nice xmas

URGENT... BUG:
Don't know why but it's the second time i run into an issue with 108k4, suddenly when i reboot (randomly) it bootloops and can't get the system back up to boot. The boot logo or bootanimation looks distorted in the tv with weird colors (Thought that i got the hdmi issue again but no). Last time i had to create a virtual machine of windows 7, install drivers and flash 108k4 stock rom because box wouldn't even boot into recovery . That's a weird but i do think su has something to do. though this time i didn't update su and still got it, didn't backup before that becuase i thought i wouldn't get it again

Yes amlcodec has vastly improved. ( no stuttering ,no audio/video sync issue just to name a few past issues)

Ps3 paring apparently works now although i haven't personally tested it.

The whole bootloop sounds more like a bad flash or download.
Also had a similar issue with a failing sd card.
Try re-flashing with a new download and see what happens.

@Veronica I am also happy as it's much better on 111K4, stock video codecs are also pretty good on 4K, Netlfix looks decent and all in all I think Oman and the folks did a styling job for us. My MXIII now goes over 620 on Antutu Video benchmark that tests all of the sound and video codecs. My 108K4 had the same issue where it got stuck into boot loop, I reflashed with AML burning tool and use the upgrade app in 108K4 to upgrade to 111k4. No regrets this side 😄

digital audio auto-detection is broken

Great rom. But the digital audio auto-detection in MBOX-settings is still broken and stucks in PCM-mode, since rom 109k4. in 108k4 it works well.

Please take a look and fix it. 1k merci

happy to report that i also succesfully install (111k4) via sd card,toothpick method to my beelink m8b thank you Oman and i used the flash_recovery> stock_recovery and only the .img from Filnless 2.1 rom thank you Bob.

Unable to setup manual DNS addresses on ethernet, when I click "Configure Ethernet Devices" click on static IP, I get the "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped" error.

Is there a work around for this?

Quick question, I got MXIII 1GB from Gearbest, had 108k4 installed on it, upgraded it to 109k4 and then built. Done it all when direct connected, moved it to room and tried wifi, performance is terrible, on phone I gte 40-50mbps but on the box I am getting a max of 2mb...any idea's? is there an issue with this firmware? anyone know how to resolve?

It could be two things. First up you need a clear signal path between the mxiii and the router, secondly the distance away from the router is critical, too close and it will be swamped with rf, too far and signal drops dramatically. I find about 1ft away is optimal. This distance I get around 33Mb to the internet.

Also try using another channel on your wifi router and also see if you can raise your router. Wifi has always been dismal on these devices.

I think the Radio on the M82 (1G/8G), MXIII w/the AP-6181 is a bit sh--!
First of all it lacks both BlueTooth, and any 5Ghz Band(s), a or n.
As an upshot of this I think this Version can only get as high as 65Mbs MAX.
Hell even my Four Year old Tablet can get up to 75Mbs. In fact the fastest Device I have is a Netbook that does 130Mbs.

So getting back to the MXIII I find that I'm only able to use about the half of my Bandwidth ~ca. 25MBs as opposed to the 51MBs that I have at my disposal. So I get about 47~48MBs over the Ethernet Port.
Since those Numbers are concrete enough for me. I kinda gave WiFi up on this Device.

What's actually disappointing to me is the lack of GigE on these Devices.
I mean here we are entering 2015, and Base 10/100TX is still a thing!!
