I am using the 1080p version that was uploaded, if anyone is interested the CWM "iFive X2 Android 4.4.2 CWM Recovery by ManuPC" works well and I flashed this with arctools.
Veclinux can you provide an 720p version of the kernel or the stock one (so I can tinker) from the rom as the one from d33 causes the system ui to crash.
Great rom good work!

Ok all sorted I now have it working with d33 "kernel_KK_v4.20_TVSTICK_AP6210_SD" at 720p I had to edit the build prop dpi to 160 while in 1080p then flash the 720p kernel. this has stopped the systemui from crashing. Antutu now giving score of 19510.
Hope this helps others with old TV like me.
Veclinux can you remember what the original DPI was?

My device is a UG007b can I ask which device you are using?

hi vermillion, my device is a mk908ii, the 1080p version of this rom works fine, have unpacked it using wendal tools and as you said has a kernel in kernel partition and not in boot, when replacing the kernel for d33 720 or 1080 (v4.2) im stuck at 720x480 with no sound (also get system ui crash as you did), this i think is to do with my old tv as on a newer pc monitor(full hd) i dont have the low res problem, what i need is a 720p kernel that handles hdmi like the 1080p version of this rom. 1080p is a bit slower than 720p and is pointless on my tv as it only supports 720p so is downscaled.

Im not sure, but think the d33 kernels for 3188 are the best, are they included in this ROM?

Thanks, but I have the original non-T version of the RK3188 overclocked to 1.8 and the GPU and DDR to max right now. Can I do this also with this ROM? Can you tell me how I can implement the d33 kernels manually? Which kernels should I use (the old for beta ROMs or the ones for ROMs after April)?
