Because this MK809III was able to clock to 1.6 GHz with the SAM 1080p Kernel - CPU @ 1.8GHz, RAM @ 1.2GHz kernel and the Neo V1.7 JellyBean ROM and Antutu scored 18310.
I took some time and played with loading the kernels included in V2 on smic's V1 ROM.
No luck getting past 1.4 GHz with the KitKat kernels but here is what I found in case anyone is interested:
- kernel_1.6_full_range (CPU 312 -1600MHz - GPU 133 - 600MHz - DDR 200/667)
After many Boot loops it finally loaded but reboots again soon after- CPU 312 MHz -1.4 GHz
- kernel_1.6h_600_667 (CPU 1200 -1600MHz - GPU 133 - 600MHz - DDR 200/667)
Stable - CPU 1.2 GHz - 1.4 GHz AnTuTu 17266
- kernel_1.6h_stock_stock (CPU 1200 -1600MHz - GPU 133 - 600MHz - DDR 200/400)
Stable - CPU 1.2 GHz - 1.4 GHz AnTuTu 16640

Strange that eill only work stable on high cpu. There is a wsy to unlock the T , but ic rockchip locked it its probably for a reason. I can look into it and try to compile a kernel for you.Originally posted by imaddiced2u View Post

It was the kernel_1.6_full_range and kernel_1.7_full_range that wouldn't run but kernel_1.8_full_range and all the others run fine. Could it be something wrong in those two files? Doesn't really matter the kernel_1.8_full_range kernel runs fine for me.HK1 Pro Plus

I recieved my tv box yesterday. I opened it but could not find/read which wifi/bt set it has. The board mention cyx_809III v5.0 20140510. Does any body know which chipset it has and if this rom can be used.

Are you sure is cyx_809kIII v5.0 and not cyx_809III v5.0? the V3 used mediatek chip, the v5 i cant find anything. There is a easy way install HW_Monitor Hardware Detection from PlayStore and identify the chip.Originally posted by gdroos View PostFor all your computer problems...

It would make the Stick work with Iiyama Prolite t2735msc Touchscreen-Monitor.

This rom isnt compatible with your network hardware. I put V2 on my second MK809III with a T CPU today. I used the 1.8 GHz full range kernel. It show a clock range of 312 MHz to 1.416 GHz. AnTuTu result was 15334 while my other MK809III with T CPU is still running V1 and gives an AnTuTu result of about 17000.
I wonder why there is such a difference?

After several days of running this ROM I can provide more great feedback. This is the best ROM I've run on this particular stick, by far. It's very stable, with only the occasional bug after every few hours of use. The only rom that has given me similar satisfaction is Quickshot 3.1 and that only ran on my RK3188T sticks.
Netflix is smooth via wifi, with a very high resolution. You may know that Netflix quality varies by device. It looks substantially better than Netflix on my Imito QX1.
I've used a USB sound card for headphone use, and it worked great.
Bluetooth seems fine, I used it with my Moga Hero Power for gaming, and quality dropped off after 10 feet. I haven't yet tried my Bluetooth headset for audio, but I will.
I can't stream 1080p video from my network via wifi, but that is understandable due to the internal antenna. My Imito QX1 is streaming Blu-ray fine from my NAS.
The only minor bugs are that rarely, an app will crash without loading. Repeatedly. I've tried clearing RAM and closing apps manually but still the app won't load. It could be any app. Rebooting the stick solves the problem.
I've also had several system crashes transferring files upwards of 1 gig across my network. The system will just reboot.
Neither of these bugs is serious and I have seen them with other ROMs. I still heavily recommend trying this ROM if you have an MK809III.Comment
