    Help needed

Guys i need help. I need full firmware backup from the Cube Talk9X. This is why...
I run in a problems with my Cube when i deleted accidentally my factory backup on my computer. I don't have another copy. I contacted customer support on cube-tablet.com site and they are not help at all.
Basically what they told me is send as tablet back and we will fix it for you. I live in USA. Shipping tablet to China is very expensive. About 40$ to china and another 40$ to ship repaired tablet to my house. Total of 80$ for repair+ the wait time for repairs about 20 days.

I tried every single guide founded on the internet and i have no success in restoring my IMEI and fixing the WiFi error`s and more. None of the software fixes permanently the problem. Only the Cube technicians can fix it in my case because i deleted the stock firmware.

If you see this in your wifi settings NVRAM WARNING: Err=0x10 ----> you will experience slower wifi speeds and other issues

If you type *#06# and IMEI is invalid -----> you will experience fast battery drain. Even if you are in airplane mode. Even if you disable radio cell with mobile uncle tools. The battery life is about 40% less then the stock.

I tried software MTK droid tools,MauiMeta, SN write, Mobile uncle tools,MTK imei writer and many more result is only temporary until the reboot.

One of the users on this forum was very kind and he give me a copy of his own nvram.bin file but that is not solution.

If i can get the 1:1 full firmware copy to flash from the same tablet i would be the happiest guy here.

Once i flash stock firmware i can change WiFi mac address and IMEI with my own that i got from the Cube customer support.

If you can upload to the Google Drive or anywhere else i would be gratefull Thank you!

Just in case other people are worried about this, its worth mentioning that I had no trouble with this. I put a three sim card in and it worked perfectly, data, text and calls. I've yet to try a Giffgaff sim: they always give me these problems on Android.

Also, flashing this ROM from stock 1.8 retained my installed apps, though the stock apps needed updates again. Of course, changing the space to 6GB did wipe my installed apps.

I put a 64GB SD card in. It couldn't read it, but offered to format the card. I let it, and it worked!

Also the battery life is wonderful. I'm not sure how good because it has yet to run down.

I use Giffgaff, installed the APN helper apk and let that do all the work setting the APN. Unlimited 3g data for 12.50 ;-)

I've not found an APN helper for giffgaf 5that sets the APN itself. Can you post the link to it, please? Sadly, no useable O2 coverage here, though.

BTW, battery now at 24% after 1d 18hr on battery. Not bad!

[Later] It dropped to 15% after 2days 3hours.

            Battery life is amazing.
display is a little bit too dark if using outdoors.

Just got exactly the same contract, £12 for unlimted and 200 talk mins, Im still using UK Vodafone atm and it worked a treat today, was a real thrill phoning someone with video call on my tablet ! ) Im hoping the Giffgaff sim wil be ok here in the UK. It runs from the O2 which is good in my area.

Did you format your SD card in NTFS or exFat ? Or only in Fat32?
i tried to put a file over than 4Gb on my SD card without success.
                  thanks

I've no idea. The tablet asked me if it should format the card and I said yes. It didn't ask about which format. I've not tried to put a huge file on: that doesn't matter to me.

Dis you try scores before flashing supersport rom? I am waiting for my own from Bpost, and wondering should I flash new rom immediately....

The change in scores is due to antutu having been updated. I would say about 28k is genuine.

Anyone of you did a test of the "fast boot" option on the stock recovery?
                          Does it make any difference?
                          -------

                          other issue:
I've had problem with USB cable during charging with wall charger. I switched to another usb cable and recharge process went well.
I think that USB cable could be the problem of the 7 hours of charging time (due to cable Voltage drop).

But I'm not sure because I charged the tablet overnight. I'll make a test on the next charge (YOU NEED TO WAIT!!!!! Battery duration is really superb!)

                            Titianium Backup Pro has stopped.

I am totally confused by this. My tablet has been running fine on the 1.8 mod and all of a sudden Titanium Backup tells me that there is insufficient space when there is over 50GB free on the sd card. Any thoughts?

I seem to have found the solution. I have now installed superuser as a system app and it is now backing up. Before I changed this, Titanium backup was still getting superuser access but it seems that somehow it wasn't working. I think this has happened after I tried to install Supersu as a system app.
