    [QUOTE=abdul_pt;n558471]TWRP M8 - www.freak-tab.de/abdul_pt/aml/TWRP_M8.img

    I don't know much about this one, but it seems to be a clone

    <image>

    Those of you who have tried all other TWRP files and have a BCM4335 with a S812 2G/8G clone, give this one a shot. Worked for me! Thank you, Abdul!

              Depends, for peace of mind you should backup every partitions. But bootloader, boot and system are the fundamental for a system boot.

                        Hi I could use some advise please,
                        I have downloaded the twrp version for my mxq all black s805 and placed it on my external SD card, if I reboot to recovery twrp is present so I started a backup to test, out looks like its working but I have an error at the beginning of the process,

                        It says

                        E: find file opening error sys/class/leds/lcd-backlight

                        Unable to find partition size for bootloader

                        And the same for ubootenv

                        It's this an issue or will it be ok.
                        Thank you in advance for any help with this.

                            I have a similar problem.

                            When I start the back up I get this
                            E: find file opening error sys/class/leds/lcd-backlight

                            Everything else works okay.

                            I think it would be the best to wait for @ abdul_pt . He is the most competent one to answer this question.

                              Thanks for the reply backup is saying successful so I think it's working but I'm not entirely sure, I haven't had to restore I've only flashed the Xbox pad fix and Dolby digital and they've flashed successfully.
