In case someone is interested
Switched run time on Finless 2.0 to ART and it always get stuck on spinning logo. I re flashed to 102k4 from factory using USB burning tool switched it to ART and it booted and ran fine. I then re installed Finless 2.0 and before i did anything I switched run time to ART and I end up with the same problem. In that I can not boot device. I don't know enough about the run time to know why it would be doing that. Any thoughts?

@Finless
Great rom so far, thank you so much!
Having the same issue with Netflix on the Finless 2.0 rom as on the Oman rom.
Netflix stutters really badly and sometimes seems like its losing frames, has this anything to do with Google Mobile suite certification? Reason for my asking is that my "late" Geniatech ATV1800E didnt have a problem playing Netflix. Dont know if its maybe an older SDK issue and if AML needs to address.
Thanks

Bob
thanks for the very good Finless 2.0 Firmware.
I have only Bluetooth issues with my Apple Magic Trackpad. After pairing the Trackpad with S82, the Trackpad shown as a Joystick controller. I can´t use the trackpad... The Trackpad works with a Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 2 (both with Android 4.4.2) without problems.
I think, kernel missing the driver for HID Touchpads (Synaptics?). Please fix the issue

Can these usability issues be resolved in Finless 2.0?
I am currently running on Finless 1.8 and I am delaying the upgrade to version 2.0 due to some issues reported here.
I have the Tronsmart Vega Standard s89 with 16 Gig.
Connection= Ethernet cable, speed measures 60 meg down and 30 meg up.
Free storage 8.3 Gig.
Mouse issues:- I have tested about a full dozen of various air mouse remotes and found one to work best. It does however suffer some of the same issues that all the others also displayed. The on screen pointer loses response and connectivity temporarily. It appears to have lower priority to other running processes. This temporary loss averages about 3 seconds or so and then connectivity, priority and response is re-established. This on/off cycle is repeated constantly. During loss of responsiveness its display LED blinks red. Otherwise its LED is blue. This intermittent connectivity leads me to believe that there may be a setting somewhere in the rom which can be optimized to give the air mouse pointer a higher priority.
- Can the mouse pointer be made bigger? It is way too small to be seen on a 55” screen from 12 foot away?
Below is a post of mine showing the mouse I use:
http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.php?16413-Air-mouse-Does-anyone-have-any-recommendations-please&p=234531&viewfull=1#post234531
Display issues:
I find it difficult to read the small screen type from a 12’ distance to my 55” TV screen. I know I can zoom in from my Chrome browser by doing a ‘CONTROL +’ twice to get enough zoom, but then I have to do that to each new page I visit. I am also aware that 3 consecutive mouse clicks in one place invoke the zoom function outside of chrome. Unfortunately this is also problematic. It does not always work. I suspect that:- This function can fail because the mouse and keyboard have temporarily lost connection priority in the rom as explained above.
- Sometimes the 3 clicks are not interpreted to be in close enough to be in the same place, due to the high speed setting of my mouse pointer. I mean that it is almost impossible to make 3 consecutive mouse clicks in place; without causing pointer movement.
To overcome this type of problem, the mouse pointer speed should follow an exponentially increasing speed curve. The first few mouse pointer pixel movements should be in a dead zone, where no movement is recorded. Then, after a 3 pixel movement, the speed increases slowly but at an exponentially increasing rate.
I have a feeling that this exponential function has been left out of the coding to get the product to market faster. Is it possible to get these issues fixed in the next rom?
Are there newer devices on the horizon without these issues or will they always be rushed out with flaws?
WIFI issues:
Way too many apps won’t run unless they detect a WIFI connection.
In the past I have had recommendation to spoof WIFI. They did not work. Does anyone have new recommendations?

Yeah, I've yet to find an app that thinks it needs Wi-Fi but doesn't work with that.

Hello guys,
I ve terrible results with ethernet speed on my Tronsmart box (first bulk) & Finless 2.0.... eg: i ve download a file from my NAS to internal nand TV box (/download) with ES explorer (SMB protocol), i have only a 3 Mo/s (32Mbits/s).... Terrible isn't?
Same download with 5gz wifi is about 3,5 Mo/s... better than Ethernet!!!!
Even in nfs protocol with XBMC/SPMC, FFW and rewind is crappy, sound without picture during many seconds... my Minix X7, or my Tronsmat r28 3288 are really faster.
How are your Ethernet results guys?
Thx.

Both, WiFi and Bluetooth use the 2.4GHz frequency. Thus, these two protocols are not usable concurrently.
How can i change the frequency of WiFi to 5GHz?
