I tried the curlclienttimeout on the gbox before but that didn't work. I'll give them both a try on this box when I get up. Have to get some sleep, it's 8am here and I still haven't slept yet. :-)
The Power button press is handled by XBMC as any other button. There's no special delay for Power button.
First settings should affect how long the XBMC tries to connect to an HTTP/FTP source.
Second setting specifies the timeout after which the XBMC drops the connection if it becomes too slow or idle.

However I'm not completely sure if S802 supports HEVC decoding, so maybe this will not be implemented.

But why then they have H265 VPU firmware for Meson8 in the kernel?

            I believe that's for S812 SOC

There's a separate directory for S812. If I correctly understand it is Meson8m2

Correct. S802 does not have any HEVC support.

                      Error in mount_storage

                      Hi,

Cheers for all your hard work codesnake, Having a bit of an issue with putting openelec on my M8 (K200)

                      Have managed to install it from the recovery screen, however, when it boots in I get this message;

"Error in Mount_storage: Mount_common: Could not mount /dev/data

Starting debugging shell.... type exit to quite

sh: can't access tty; Job control turned off"

                      Anybody have any ideas?

                      Thanks

Try to wipe the data partition from recovery.

Cam i use the remote.conf of the square remote control from the stock rom that comes with the M8N in this build? If yes, what is the location of remote.conf in Openelec?

The configuration file is in /etc/remote.conf, but it is in read-only filesystem. Instead you can create a startup script and run amremote_config /path/to/your/remote.conf

Loaded Beta 1 over Stanes and it loaded without a hitch. Lightning fast. Great work Codesnake.
