how do i put this config file into the box?

- copy pertinent remote.conf as /storage/.config/remote.conf
- add or create a new file /storage/.config/autostart.sh with the following cmd:

remotecfg /storage/.config/remote.conf

- map the missing keys to .kodi/userdata/keymaps/keyboard.xml


[ATTACH=CONFIG]9680[/ATTACH][ATTACH=CONFIG]9681[/ATTACH]


remote v1 (few keys):
[ATTACH=CONFIG]9682[/ATTACH]

remote v2 (full keys):
[ATTACH=CONFIG]9683[/ATTACH]

What's the status of any development of openelc? I know people get busy but would be nice to be kept in the loop.. is this development still active.. I'm not trying to be rude. It would just help with the repeat questions about eta on mxq boxes.

The development is still active, but as I said before, I bricked my MXQ box, so currently cannot continue development for it.

Thank you codesnake!! I installed openelec on my M8 box and it works fine apart from not being able to change the resolution in XBMC to 1080p. It only displays 720p and wont allow me to change the resolution. I have also tried the latest rom and it wont allow me to change it. My TV does display 1080p so im not sure why it doesnt let me.

Until now i only have one problem.
I cant turn off the device.
I have to push thel button on top of the box

Any news on the HDMI Black Screen Fix on builds > 4.2.1?

Has there been any progress on a fix for the HDMI black/blank screen at boot issue some of us have on our MX2/G18 boxes which prevent us from upgrading past the 4.2.1 build? I remember reading a few posts in the past month or so mentioning a possible fix was in the works.

Note: I posted a similar query on the Matricom website's OpenELEC thread before I realized this one seems more active.
