I installed Codesnakes 5.0.5 on my M8 and it runs very nice. the only thing I don't like, and seems to be prevalent amongst the builds, is it doesn't power off by the remote. It only goes into sleep mode. I have to pull the plug for a total power down. I'm not sure how many cores it's using though. But it is pretty snappy with very little problems. The only real problem I had was after using the configuration wizard in Kodi and adding the Eminence skin it froze and crashed out. I'm not sure if the configuration wizard caused this or the skin so I opted to reset kodi and install all my add-ons individually and didn't use a skin. After that it has been running great. I would like to know how many cores I'm running though. In the Kodi info, it shows me the cpu usage but in the format of "CPU Usage: CPU0: 38% CPU1 34% CPU2..." So I have no idea if CPU 2 and 3 are doing. So cores 1 and 2 are working but 3 and 4 i have no idea. Unless there is another way to check this?

I'm going to pose up a build that I just donated to Kerber to fix. I'm not going to post it here since this is codes snakes build.

Frozin, I have never had that issue but I did have an issue with the box powering back on, or waking up, and had no picture. I had to unplug my HDMI cable for a few seconds and that fixed it. Give that a try.
al8782, Should I decide to flash my box back to stock how would i go about doing that? Can I use the recovery files from this OpenELEC build and just add the stock Rom zip file and flash it that way?

But I really would like this build to get fixed, because Kerber's builds are the only build that actually has all four cores working with low CPU usage.
The 5.0.5 build that Jonke did with codes build only has one working core and the 5.0.8 that you just installed only has two working cores. The other two cores have an actual percentage number but stays frozen, the percentage never changes. And when playing a movie only two cores are working with the other two always at 0%.
Kerber's builds have all four cores working all the time.
Hopefully he responds. I talked to a copy of buddies of mine to go in with me on a decent donation for Kerber to fix this.
I was going to ask Codesnake but it seems he's real busy with Wetek
Al8782, any update as on this post? Yes only two core working on codesnake 5.0.8 Openelec built.
