Don't know, think it's in the RKVideoPlayer, might work in XBMC also.
Will upload the update, no need to flash full ROM.

For AC3/DTS PT Testing
1. Flash boot.img
2. Copy files to system/lib
3. Restart device
4. Test PT
- RKVideo Player
- SPMC
- Kodi Beta 1 PT patched
- Kodi nightly
5. Then do the same but after copying patchedlibmedia.so as in step 2 also and restarting device. The patchedlibmedia.so file needs to be renamed to libmedia.so before copying.

Did some tests, first i flashed your v1.2 ROM with the new boot.img and added the 3 files to system/lib. Activated HDMI Bitstream(passthrough) in android settings. Installed newest kodi nightly and patched kodi beta 1. Tested a movie with both DTS and DD, added the patched libmedia and did the tests again.

Test with normal libmedia:

RKvideoplayer: DTS and DD passthrough works
SPMC 13.3.4 beta 1: Just noise with both DD and DTS
Kodi Nightly: Just 2.0 sound with PT enabled, cant fast forward or skip forward, then Kodi stops.
Patched Kodi: same as the nightly.

Test with patched libmedia:

RKvideoplayer: DTS and DD passthrough works
SPMC 13.3.4 beta 1: DD, DTS and the movie is stuttering.
Kodi Nightly: Just 2.0 sound with PT enabled, cant fast forward or skip forward, then Kodi stops.
Patched Kodi: DD and DTS works, but audio is out of sync and you cant fast forward or skip forward.

I love this ROM. By far the fastest I have used. WiFi is super fast and stable. Browsing is very snappy. Only problem is I cannot power the r89 off it just reboots. I love the hphlauncher but it would be nice to customize it clock is 24 hour which i dont like and cant remove apps from drawer or favs on the bottom keep up the great work mo123

If you have HPH/Ugoos remote you can power the device off.
Also can modify the HPH Launcher with those remotes.

I have a UGOOS UT3 and just installed your ROM without issue. I have a question, I think I'd like to reflash the ROM with 8GB user storage. I'm not sure how to do that. Can someone explain to me how to do it?

Patched one, but then you can't seek forward in videos.

The normal beta 3 kodi and all of the files in your PT folder . .boot.img etc.

So you mean you get DD and DTS passthrough to work with the normal Kodi Beta3? when you use this rom, with all the files from the PT folder? Did you use the hacked libmedia or the libmedia from the PT folder?

If this is true, I think I have to give it a try again

Yes to the above, i have only tried a DD Film though.
I am using HDMI lead to my amplfier.

Did a new test with the files from the PT folder(not the patched libmedia) and can confirm that passthrough with HDMI works with the latest Kodi nightly. However when I play a movie with DTS the receiver show the audio as DD. The fastforward is working sometimes. But if I play a movie with chapters Kodi just exits if I try to jump to the next chapter. The video is also a bit choppy. Think it will be good when Kodi gets stable and we get a Kodi SPMC :-)

bricked r89

I installed mo123 rom to my Beelink r89. But it bricked my r89. It stay in the boot animation. What can i do to unbrick it ? My pc couldnt detect my beelink anymore.

Yes, just split your latest Tronsmart firmware with the flash tool.
Replace my boot.img, resource.img and kernel.img with your split firmware files.
Then use mkUpdate.bat to make a single Image file to flash to your device.
Try to use the latest 100k4 firmware of your device.
I will try to upload boot.img for Tronsmart devices with my tweaks also.

I tried to load your rom on the T-Firefly following your instruction to swap those 3 img files.. I also used the "rk3288-3.10-uboot-data8G.parameter.txt" parameter file I found in your zip. I could create and flash the img file but it will not boot.

Would you have any lead to what could be wrong?
I'll try to adb logcat to see if can I get something.

Update: tried several other ways but still could not get it to work any further. I tried going step by step : I can flash the original dump with a 2gb parameter - boots flawlessly. Then I tired to replace the existing system.img with yours, but it does not boot.

I cannot use adb, it wont let me connect.

Only the default parameter file(4GB) works correctly.
If you want to use 2GB or 8GB parameter file, you have to download it separately under the v1.2 ROM link.
Using the Firefly ROM and replacing it with my system.img will also not work, since my system.img is bigger in size and will overwrite the other partitions.
You have to flash the Firefly Images with my system.img and my parameter.img(the default one) but will loose linux support. If using my ROM you will have to flash boot.img,kernel.img and resource.img from Firefly ROM to get all the connectors, VGA etc working.
To just use my system.img, you need to increase the system partition in the parameter file to 800MB of Firefly ROM, then it will work.

Upload your Firefly parameter file, then I will edit it for you to work with my system.img.

I'm working on a linux dual-boot firmware for RK3288 that will work nice.
