1.1 running fine here. Antutu 24624, which is the same as 1.0, so I'm fine with that.

No changes to webview , so I still get greader and browser crashes.

I ran across a good article on the importance of webview here:

Google's WebView for Android will get updates from Google Play, enabling faster security and feature updates.

This article notes that changes were made to webview with Android 4.4.4, and even better changes were made with 5.0. Guess I will just have to hope that one of these will show up someday for my pipo. It is both a security issue as well as a stability issue.

Hello from Greece. I am using 1.1 rom , and i must say it is fantastic. But again the same location problem happens to me. When i set the location service to high accuracy , it seems to be working. But it is really not , because it needs gps data to find my location , which is not always possible. When i switch to battery saving mode nothing happens and the apps that request location ,behave as if i had set location to completely off. In fact i think there is a toggle missing in the location menu... Any ideas ?

        Re: [Pipo Project] M6 Pro

Tonight I will look at those default settings and see if I can fix that. There are two places they are set...in the build.prop and in SettingsProvider.apk.

          oveclockomatic

Overclockomatic is not working any more on the kernels.
There are two kernels included in the Pipo_M6_Pro_FreaktabROM_1.1.zip file.
Could somebody tell the difference between kernel_pipo_stock.img and kernel.img. I suppose the kernel_pipo_stock.img is compiled from PiPO sources untouched, but why are the frequency tables for overclockomatic missing?
A change-log txt would be nice to see.
The 1.8.2 ROM with kernel run just fine the following voltages:
          == Table 6 at offset 9436988 ==
          MHz mV
          216 800
          312 800
          504 850
          816 925
          1008 975
          1200 1075
          1416 1175
          1704 1275
          == Table 7 at offset 9437076 ==
          MHz mV
          128 875
          198 900
          297 975
          384 1025
          594 1175

          == Table 8 at offset 9437124 ==
          MHz mV
          744 1200 256 DDR_FREQ_NORMAL
What are the voltages and frequencies for this ROM?
I appreciate the lot of work You put in the ROM development anyway!
          Thank You All!

            Re: [Pipo Project] M6 Pro

These new kernels are compressed. Therefore...the editing process won't work. I'm not able to change the boot screen either.

Tested 1.1 with alternative kernel (stock pipo) and everything runs smooth. Happy to see sd mode back as it feels like my m6 struggles a little in hd mode. Great work.

I my case the agenda sync is not working, I found the calendar tick-box is missing.
Is this something I broke or the developers can fix?
I have v1.1 installed with gapps updated.

I tried all sort of things, but not the wipe cache!
Thanks, it is working now with v1.1 rom.

I was not sure what to wipe, so in recovery (reboot with vol+ , back and power) I choose both cache and Dalvik cache.
After a reboot it did the optimizing thing again on al my apps, but now calendar is working.

                    Thanks and greatings from Spain,

                        Stuck Boot Screen

Hi Guys, I have upgraded from Riley Rom 1.7 without going through 4.4 Kitkat. Mistake??
My tablet Boots to PIPO title with Interactive media 4.4.2 then stays there. The flash upgrade ran to the end and OK. Cannot get back to loader whatever I try. Have I bricked it?

                          Hi,

                          look in this tread: http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...ng-RR1-7/page3

Here there are two ways of getting it into flash-mode again: some people had to open their tablet and short two pins of the Nand, others could get it in flash-mode again by connecting it to a power adapter and connecting it to the PC, already running the flash-tool.

Now HOLDING the Power-button pressed made the tablet show up as connected in flash-mode again: keep the Power-button pressed AND -before flashing!!- tick the Loader-box too. (You may not have done this, the first time?)

                          Good luck,

                          Satbeginner

                            Thanks Satbeginner

Unfortunately no luck. Short pins 8+9 and can get into Mask rom mode. Seems to Erase nand but then I get an IDB failure when programming. Went back to RR 1.6.1 with its loader and I get same result. Tab doesnt even boot to PIPO screen, so going backwards toward Bin?

This is REALLY GOOD NEWS !! I am so happy for you!
Disconnecting the battery was in that thread as well, I was about to mention it to you, but you beat me to it.

Now you can experience the great improvements the Dev's made by creating the v1.1 Freaktab Rom for our M6Pro.

                                Hurray!!
