about the search bar: can it be linked to google now, as it was on 1.8.2?
the launcher screen, i noticed, appears "not well proportioned", a 3x3 widget becomes very long in portrait mode

Have you tried setting the screen resolution from "HD" to "Normal" ?
My touch input is only lagging in "HD" mode and when i switch it to "Normal" everything works perfect as it should.
I think the device (cpu too weak, kernel settings wrong etc.) isn't handling the input right when in "HD" mode.

I don't know if it was asked before, but does the camera not work with version 1.1 ?

I did change it to Normal mode because i need a lower resolution for my apps to run more smoothly than HD mode. I'll try this again and i don't know, hope it will be fixed. That's the only problem i needed to remove in the rom to make it "perfect" for me. I wish someone will encounter the same problem lol, so that Maakie and also sir Riley can look on this one.

Touch problem proof.

Here's my proof about my touch problem, I enable Show Touches and Pointer Location (lines) in the Development Options for you to clearly see it though the video is blurred. You can also see that as the diagonal lines appear, my home screen suddenly moves and at the end of the video my typing stops. I can't explain it well but I really think that when I touch Point A and suddenly touch Point B, the touch slides through the touchscreen that results the stopping of the touch. You can also see in the keyboard that sometimes when I tap a key, the diagonal line appear and the key doesn't light up because its not recognized as a touch..

I hope my problem is clear now, this problem only appears in this ROM and not on Riley KK 1.8.2 and JB 1.6.1.
P.S, its difficult to write a comment with this problem just like now and to play rhythm games such as Cyrus and Deemo.

Hi, I too have a very unlucky CPU, I could not use any previous ROM without freezes or SOD (Sleep of Death).
Now I use v1.1 ROM, but with the provided alternative kernel (stock settings), and it works really great.
I suggest you try that too?

I too had similar problem. But using alternative kernel with stock voltage/speed ive had zero problems. +5 weeks without a single little hickup. Try to flash that kernel ;-)

i tried your suggestion to use the stock pipo kernel
agps doesn't work with it either (as already said, satellites are seen, but google geolocation seems somehow turned off)

and i have NO poweroff issues (with the modified kernel)

Looks good after a few Day have this ROM running. Same issue withe Home screen when turning Portrait to Landscape, the top Line with Clock disappeared. Tested in HD and SD. Battery life have not increased so much but Standby is around one Week, that's enough.



GPS working well for me, after setup with "Faster GPS App", GPS Tool show me 7 satellites after a few minutes, Bing and other Maps show me the right position with +/- 6 meter accuracy. AGPS working with WIFI and 3G so far i know, not tested yet.

I've discovered that my tablet is draining battery from the 3g altough its in airplane mode. I even renamed the famous lib file /system/lib/libril-rk29-dataonly.so but nothing changed. This battery problem came up after the new rom. i do not use 3g, is there a way to disable it? Any suggestions? Other than that im really happy with the new Rom, i dont want to go back.

I'm still playing with 1.8.2. and also not using 3g. Therefore I removed Telephony.apk. You can also remove any SMS/MMS related stuff and after a reboot the power consuming network search will be gone. You can use Titanium backup or System app remover too for these tasks.

with faster gps i can get a first fix in less than 30 seconds even inside, that means the antenna is just great, but in the original gps.conf there was no ntp server defined
but agps still doesn't work, even if supl server is correctly set
so i think it's something else
