i made up to v1.8 , and it works fine.
Now i try to make up to V2.0 and there is this error : this package is for u65gt devices ; this is a cube

It is suitable for any firmware.

It alternates between the 2 status indefinitely connect / disconnect with battery charging icon showing.

What you describe is exactly what happens if you connect tablet to PC without having the USB drivers installed.
I had the same thing before finally getting the driver problem sorted.

Which ROM do you have installed at the moment?
Is it stock or a 900ss custom one?

Version 2 is very slow

Hi all,
I tried this firmware (version 2) but I am not happy with it at all. In comparison with supersport's one this version 2 is very slow. I uninstalled all the chinese apps but still it does my tablet very slow. Additionally, the screen rotation gets stuck most of the time. I had to fix chrome again and the battery issue still exists. So I flashed it back to supersport's one and my tablet is back to normal speed and behaviour!!!! Waiting for Supersport's firmware version 2

My tab is not supported for version 2 so there will be no 900supersport version.

Sob sob I hope you will be able somehow to get more updates to your roms and still have this super fast tablets with new features. It's that you do a brilliant job and your custom roms gave a style of perfection to our pads. Thanks for your reply

Never had any issue with V2. On my tab is fast and working really fine!
Never had problems with rotation too.

Chome is fixed by default, are you sure you installed the correct version?

I have installed the one that was presented in this thread and it is stored on a google drive. ( I think that the drive settings are in polish language.) I did all the settings with the flash tool and installed it on my tablet. Unfortunately, screen rotation worked in the beginning. After a while I had only vertical rotation not horizontal. I had to be like a F1 driver turning right or left my tablet so it would start rotating but....no actual results. When I tried to run google chrome I got all the time the message unexpectedly shut down. when I ran the fix for google chrome it worked but still too slow. Running supersports 1.8 works like a charm. Fast, smooth no rotation trouble. Do you think I got it from the wrong source?

I'm using the one presented on this thread hosted on mega.co.nz.
It's running really fine, I'm happy of it, Installed on 2 tablet without issues at all.

Did you see in tablet setting if the v.2.0 ROM was dated 11-11-2014 ?

Actually, I tried the one you did your flashings. I renamed the file and ran the update. It is always aborting. Any ideas? I have version1.8 900Supersports installed at the moment.

Additionally to my previous post the exact message is no file_contextsThis package is for "U65GT" devices; This is a "MTK". I Hope this gives you a clue.

the tablet name is changed by 900supersport during custom rom preparation.
I performed the update from the stock july 1.8 rom version and I haven't had this kind of problem.
