I'm still puzzled about repair if it fails though!
The file on drive.google.com is a .rar archive. Seems wrong to simply rename as .zip.
Can anyone advise?

Sorry my bad! The "repair update" is not in zip-format so can't flash it with stock recovery. You have to flash it via SP Flash Tool. There are instructions in chinese ("酷比魔方MT8392 MT6592升级说明"). If you download 900Supersport rom installing package you find instructions in english for using SP flash tool (Thanks to Brian).

Yes you're right I lost IMEI after LEPI's 2.0 Mod ROM flashing. Thank you. Not his fault apparently. After AT+ XXXXX command in engineering menu I got it back but still I can't connect in 3G only mode. 2G is fine. Is there anything else might be lost?

Sheesh! I believe I lost NVRAM data as well. Symptom is NVRAM error on my list of wifi networks. Stupid me. Haven't done a backup! Is there any solutions for that?

Its not something I've had to do on the cube. You may need to restore an nvram image and then update to imei to yours.

According to Brian I think that you need some random nvram.img and then you have to change the imei to yours. I don't know where you could find nvram.img.

Has anyone tried the new V2.0 20141215 firmware (pan.paidu.com, pasword: u7h6) yet? Any news?

If I understood correctly there's some backup update if touchscreen becomes inoperable with the primary one. The download for that file is very very slow and unstable. Not flashing anything before I get it.
