I suppose your screen is gorgeous now.
If you are on a older firmware like 1.04/1.05 maybe you can check with CPUz what CPU frequencies shows(1.69 or 1.85GHz) and governor (hotplug or interactive).
    Thank's.
I was on v1 when I sent it away, it came back as v1.5. I updated to 1.6 as soon as I connected to my WiFi,.

At least that's the impression I'm getting after reading about governors.
On more than 4 cores processors as mt8752 and mt8392 interactive governor increase power drain and heat production because even on low workload all cores are "ready" while in hotplug mode unnecessary cores are practically switched off. I think interactive governor is not optimized for octacores, hotplug is more efficient, some developers prefer hotplug governor over interactive on 4 cores cpu too.

Thank you Gio for the info.
My chinese phone pomp c6s is set up with the hotplug governor.

They both report the CPUs as stopped. Is that not the same thing for both governors?

The cube idles at 468mhz while the pomp sits at 728 MHz.

I deleted the 3C CPU app, installed the CPU-Z.

Where is the selection for 'hotplug'? It looks to be set at 'ondemand' right now and the CPU definitely cycles up to 1.85 when using tab.

          Thanks.

With "cpu tuner" app you can fix maximum frequency and select the cpu governor too, remember that cpu governor can be selected only between the governors available in T9 kernel.
On talk 9x hotplug governor is present, on T9 I don't know....

On T9 I have checked myself (in fact that's what I have done in last two hours), is only interactive governor in all FW's.
Checked V1.02/1.03/1.04/1.05..about 1.06 already we have info's..interactive governor present in all these FW's and all report 1.859 GHz on Core0 and Core1. When CPU is on load (at least Core0/Core1/Core2/Core3 will stay in max. 1.6GHz)
Perhaps in all these FW's Cube developers are trying to optimize kernel..V1.06 maybe is too much optimized if we are looking to reported reboots .

And about touchscreen issues..are not present in my tablet.
My touchscreen works perfect in all these FW's (second screen protector was already removed).

Hello. Pls forgive me little OT.
Please help me. I have read and read and read this topic... and i have a problem with making decision to purchase the best tablet for me. I want to have very good display, gps (+glonas) and 4g (or 3g).
Which tablet will be better? Cube T9 or Teclast T98? Maybe another one? There are very similar tablets.

Maybe i sould wait to purchas newer tablet?

Many thanks for your help and advice

Go with Cube T9...this is a two months old tablet.
GPS is very good, a little more precise compared with Talk 9X.
My first GPS fix with this tablet was indoor on my balcony (1m accuracy, acquired in first 20 seconds).
4G/3G/Phone call function and mobile data transfer works flawless.
Display is very good, a little grainy but not very easily seen or noticed.
I said already is blazing fast?

I agree with Edius, Cube is generally more reliable than teclast, furthermore T98 is lighter, but for a reason: it has a 8500mAh battery wrt T9 that has 10.000mAh.

                      Update on screen touch detection

                      Hi guys,
I got to say that the device has gone crazy.
I'm going to put it a side and buy Samsung or something, it is totally unusable.

It detects touches on places I don't touch. I touch point X, but It reacts as though I touched point Y, even if they are half a screen away.
60% of the times when I'm scrolling (by "draging" the screen up or down) and my finger will pass over a button, It will react as though the button was clicked. It happens so often, the device is just useless.
My GF is using it, so I didn't know about this until she showed it to me today. I tried working with it for 10 minuets and I just gave up.

                      The digitizer is nuts! beware!
                      So much for buying Chinese...

The Cube brand has shown itself to be about the best available from China.

Other options from Cube with a 9.7” screen would be the Talk 9X (a true bargain for what it is) and the Cube i6 if you would like a Windows tablet that might be modded to dual boot in the future.

The i6 is nice, but does not last as long (battery) as the T9 or the Talk 9X.

The T9 I have is better than anything I have ever bought from China in a tablet, and I have had quite a few ...from Teclast to Onda to Pipo to Cube. The T9 has been the best!

                          Sorry to hear that.
If you already removed second screen protector you should consider an replacement.
My touchscreen is perfect...few hours ago rolled back to all firmwares(1.02 to 1.06) and checked this thing too and no problem has been seen.

                            Great wi-fi!

Picking up my child at school; in the parking lot; in my truck; router in school ...somewhere. ONE bar ...and the website just popped up with no problem.
Best wi-fi I have seen out of a China tab.

Hate that! For all the ones bought that did well, like mine ...there is sure to be some that are truly bad
                              I wish you well.

even my touch was crazy, but only when it was connected the charger ......
when the charger was unplugged the touch worked well,
replaced with another charger of good quality, touch screen has always worked perfectly
