See other thread where I describe audio dropouts, with stock 111k4 and an Onkyo receiver. Seems all to easy to blame the Onkyo, especially when I read that you do not have the problem with an earlier version of Finless.
So the good news is that it can be corrected in firmware, the bad news is that it hasn't been solved yet, neither in the stock firmware nor in a recent Finless firmware.

My onkyo tx nr737 got audio drops when i move my router to close to the receiver.
I dont get audio drops with the vega. I might add that i am not using wifi . Perhaps if you are using wifi , changing the position of the box might help.
I do get audio errors when i change the display settings to 1080p 50hz, all is well at 1080p 60hz.

I have no issues, playing for several hours at a time. I use Ethernet though, not wifi.

You can try returning it if you can and order a 2G, but the 1G/8G is incompatible with many things including this ROM

Something wrong

With this rom memory is always on 60-65%. Or 35-40% free or less. Cpu z and other about device app show that system have only 870mb total ram. Something here is not ok or this is All in one rom problem, because this is rom for mx3 1Gb too. On omans 112k4 rom i have installed max unlock cpu patch from finless 2.1 end from 1600mb total ram again schrink to 870mb. With other patch 408min ....everything is normal. I think finless already know about this. I can wait finless 2.2 maybe everything will be solved.

Wifi very slow speed on MXIII

Hi everyone,

I received my MXIII 2GB Version a few days ago and installed directly this 2.1 rom, every things works fine except wifi speed.

I tested with app speedtest and i get always values like these:

ping - 15-20 ms (it´s normal)
download - 0,30 - 1,8 mbps (NOT Normal)
upload - 3 - 3.8 mbps (it´s normal)

I dont understand why download speed is so slow, i cant see streams and even youtube videos correctly. I have installed the 2.0 finless rom to test but it´s the same. I also tested speedtest whith my phone on the same exact place as the tv box and i get download speeds around 35 - 40 mbps wich is normal.

Why am i getting so slow download speeds on my MXIII (2GB version)?

If I have the tronsmart connected to the tv, could see the screen of another smartphone, movies for example, on the tv through the miracast app, or in some other way? I have installed this rom, thanks..I've tried with a z2 xperia but it doesn't work .It could be problem of the HDCP ?

Do you have bluetooth ON? If yes, try to turn it OFF. And run the SpeedTest.

Thanks a Lot for the build Bob!! Lots of improvements compared to Finless 1.8.

Unfortunately, something did go wrong with the connections... Both wifi but especially Ethernet connections have more than halved... On Ethernet I was getting 65 - 70Mbps, but after the upgrade (from 1.8 to 2.1, on my tronsmartS89-H), I now barely get 25Mbps...
The problem is that this prevents me from using any VPN which, in UK (where they restrict most sharing sites like IceFilms and 1Channel) is an absolute must!

I'm not complaining (I actually just made a donation to Bob for his excellent work!), I'd just like to see if anybody else is getting this (besides Fleyd and myself), but more importantly, to see how we can fix this... as the way it currently "works" is not really viable for UK.

Mr. Bob, any chance you could look into this when you have a moment? Something changed between 1.8 and 2.1 specifically in terms of the network connectivity (both WiFi and Ethernet, but especially Ethernet).

Iam waiting till the razer TV comes out .only negatieve spec so far hdmi 1.4. snapdragon 805 Android lollypop .untill then i have tot do it with my tronsmart s89 h

Remote Control

Hi,

Is there a way to get the standard remote to work again on the S802 box after you install this Rom ?
The Air keyboard is working and usb is working but not the remote that came with the box.

I did turn on remote control in settings but it hasn't read it yet.
