The higher the number, the more conductive the material is (as opposed to resistive like described) :-)

I am really happy about this box.

But i'm not a scientist, only my thoughts.
Here an example
6 mm high http://www.conrad.de/ce/de/product/1...65-KW?ref=list (16,5)
vs.
10 mm high http://www.conrad.de/ce/de/product/1...57-KW?ref=list (15,7)
But at pad and paste they talk about W/mK and here higher is better...RK3288 Devices

Just finished up modding my box similar to how Scoob did his, I may take pictures in the next couple of days here. I need to swap out the heatsinks for ones shorter than 15mm, the main board doesn't 100% fit, but I've got some great results.
When playing flash videos, my CPU would get just under 80C, now full screen flash barely gets me to 60C. I used 5W/mK 1mm thick pad under the ALU plate over RAM, CPU and power; 12x25x15mm aluminum heatsinks (though like I said I'd go with slightly shorter ones if you're looking to order new); and 3.2W/mK 5mm thick pad underneath board in contact with bottom of the case.
Does anyone know the best way to maybe remove some of the plastic that's on the inside top of the case? I'd like to avoid buying new heatsinks if possible.

If you put them, or one big cooler over the complete alu plate or dirctly on the chips a height about 13 mm will fit better. the plastic part that holds the mainboard limits the height of the coolers.
Maybe two like this ones:
or maybe like this ones:

Thanks for the suggestions, but I found http://www.****.com/itm/371219081414 shipping from USA for relatively cheap, and pre-adhesive'd.

And the CPU temperature and now 45 degrees when they were at 85 degrees in the same time.
And after 4 hours of stress, the CPU never go up to 70 degrees, excellent !
Used only 3 tools :
