kszaq Well looks like my local streaming problem was user error. I guess I had a typo in my advancesetting.xml file. changed it and now every thing works great...
I apologize for making you look for something that was my fault.
Thanks pigbait
I know this is mentioned in the release notes but. I'm getting error in mount_storage: mount_common: Could not mount /dev/data
This is on both MXQ and HD18Q 6.0.3.3 and 6.90.1Last edited by pigbait; 14 March 2016, 02:17.

kszaq I dropped a message over on the odroid forum where they came up with that retroarch addon...I will let you know what they say about sources ect.
Do you get any error message when launching roms from your new Jarvis build or does it just reboot without any log? I want to test it out but I have this stick setup so sweet now with 16Gb SDcard loaded with roms...I dont want to break it. The Rom Collection Browser addon is really nice too. I had to set it to display only limited number of roms though or it takes forever to load each system.

I looked into retroarch myself a few times and always drew a blank when it came to emulators on openELEC, never thought it was available. I knew it was available on Raspberry pi etc but I never could get anything working. I thought I was wasting my time similar to trying to get pvr.iptv simple client working, it just does not work for me.

(Very) unofficial MXQ Krypton build using kszaq's openelec-7.0-wip branch, fritsch's krypton-egl branch, and OpenELEC master pulled in.
This build will get no support and is only thanks to kszaq and fritsch. I'm only sharing it in case someone else is interested in it.
Possible issues in addition to kszaq 6.90.1 issues:
- PVR might not work
- Though I haven't encountered audio passthrough issues over hdmi, there might be issues with the new patch for krypton.
Installation:
- Set default theme "confluence" before installation in case of theme compatibility issues.
- Copy to .update folder as usual and reboot.
- Toggle aml hw acceleration off and back on -- in settings => Video => Acceleration.
Download (bottom download button): http://d-h.st/xVV1
PS: the new default theme (estuary) is very nice.

The mali450 gpu really shines with this plugin.
How did you install retroarch, can you give a link to the setup
Thanks

Thats exactly what I am trying to configure now, so far I have not succeeded :-( I'm following this guide here https://seo-michael.co.uk/tutorial-h...-browser-kodi/ But it's not specifically for OpenELEC and things are not working out
Thanks sammaz

/storage/.kodi/addons/emulator.tools.retroarch/bin/retroarch.sh fceumm /storage/emulators/roms/nes/punchout.zip
this would start punchout with the fceumm (NES) emulator
I just put the final touches on my Genesis, NES, N64, SNES roms...they all have all the artwork and launch directly from Rom Collection Browser...When you finally get it all set up you should check out the "night" skin that is included with Rom collection browser. It is much snappier when browsing roms...it has a smooth animation.

I'm still not seeing any roms when I launch rom collection browser. In source I have added retroarch with the following path /storage/.kodi/addons.emulator.tools.retroarch/ Is this correct?
Also after I have logged in with putty I have used /storage/.kodi/addons/emulator.tools.retroarch/bin/retroarch.sh Nintendo 64 /storage/emulators/roms/n64/Mario Kart 64.zip at the OpenELEC:~ prompt but I get a message saying permission denied
I'm looking for the n64 retroarch core name here https://sourceforge.net/p/zaggxbmcad...i/Core%20List/ But i don't see it
