OK , here's something I hope might help.

I just hooked up my 2nd MK808B+, that I've been upgrading since 5.0.1, all the way through to 5.0.8, then to 5.95.1.
I connected the dual IT9135 (IT9137 and IT9133) stick to it and it plays perfectly well.......with absolutely no distortion.

TVHeadend recognises the tuner as a single Afatech AF9033.

    Also, have "usb 2-1: dvb_usb_af9035: prechip_version=83 chip_version=01 chip_type=9135"
"usb 2-1: dvb_usb_v2: found a 'ITE 9135 Generic' in cold state"
"usb 2-1: dvb_usb_v2: downloading firmware from file 'dvb-usb-it9135-01.fw'.......... etc.

    My other MK808B+ with 5.0.8 freshly installed doesn't get to "usb 2-1: dvb_usb_af9035: prechip_version=83 chip_version=01 chip_type=9135".

Thanks, only got it late last night so didn't dive in too much, and was just checking to see if it had been reported.

Will see if the log sheds some light or doing an update will solve it, pretty adhere to XBMC/KODI and this is the only time this has done it, but could be a character or something which breaks it.

This is a minor bug which is temporary resolved after a reboot. The developers are aware of it and that I'm sure it will be resolved at a later date.
Sorry image has not appeared it's the gray box problem on left of screen when viewing a stream.

First thanks for all the work.
Is there a fix for this issue or work around? I get this on my MXQ

Hi, first thanks for making this great Os

So I installed.. the beta 5.18 on beelink s85

          Usb DAC (3dsound)
          Usb wireless mouse / remote
Wifi/LAN.. the Vids look great.. 650/700 MB free ram

          Problems:
Cannot access ext sdcard or any USB storage device connected, is this normal?
          Mouse scroll not working

          Update...problem solved
          Previous port setup..
          Otg, emty
Usb mouse (I removed this.. to Sata, but it did not work..then restored mouse back..also not working)
          Usb DAC
          ..
          Setup (working)
          Otg, mouse
          Usb2Sata 120GB
          Usb DAC
Now ext sdcard and USB storage are working just fine..

          Found even beter setup
          Otg usbdac dragonfly
          Airmouse
          Usb2Sata
          Sdcard is working
          Kodi/settings/Audio output/dragonfly spdif/96kHz (default=blue / now it change to color = amber )

Fixed the issue of the missing movies by downloading the Test version, however I'm assuming VPN is not supported?

            If so..... damn...

Edit: It's only for the latest beta, hope they re-add this feature to the main GUI. Downgraded and it actually took away movies from the library!

Changed to a different scrapper and it's working better, seems weird how the default is having so much problems on the stable build.

I have been testing it for a few days and there seem to be no more issues than with the previous one yet it offers a little bit improved picture quality. I have also included some changes requested by users. Unfortunately, this kernel brings no fix for HD-Audio or multichannel audio support, stuttering 29.97 videos nor DVB issues.
However, please download, test and report any new issues or improvements that you observed. Thanks in advance!
              Feedback:
I have tested both this release and the media-full release (for beelink MXQ)
              * media_full build:
              +HDMI CEC works great.
              - MAC Address change on every reboot
              - DVB issues with message : "DVB: adapter 1 frontend 0 frequency 0 out of range ...."
+ tvheadend find channels, but can't play them
              * this test build
              +Mac Address is fixed
+ No "DVB ..." message when stick is inserted
              - tvheadend scan gives no channel
              - HDMI CEC does not work

              Regards

Please provide a dmesg so we can see what's happening.

I posted a new test release which should fix the MAC address issue. I also added a fix for HDMI-CEC for the MXQ. Please read release note before upgrading as there is a change in NAND driver for MXQ and HD18Q that could potentially make these devices not boot.

                Edit: Updated test release below.

kgi would you be so kind and report if this unified build works with your MK808B+ with Realtek WiFi chip?

kashmoney please check if WiFi works for you in this release. If it doesn't, I would need a dmesg from Android firmware that works to see which firmware is used by your device.

hey kszaq the flash goes thru and the unit boots up however it does the blue screen that I mentioned prior. im sure it has to do with the static image fix by csgabe because if I power off both the stick and tv and then power both together then I am able to get a picture but it looks absolutely hazy and if I reboot the stick I get the blue screen again as mentioned. if I use the previous openelec versions though I don't have any issue like the one im describing.
with regards to the AP6212 I have opened the stick and made sure it is the AP6212 again. also the stick by default comes with firmware 111k4 not 110k4 as posted as the latest on this very forum. howdo I get the dmesg output for you? I had ordered 3 of the MK808B Plus from gearbest and of the 3 I received I flashed 2 with openelec and the 3rd I left as is with the 111k4 in case I needed to go back lol.

It would be best if you can give me a link to your Android firmware, I can't find it on the internet.

I you don't have a link to firmware, please grab your favourite file manager and make a (zipped) copy of /system/etc folder. I think you may be able to collect kernel log by copying /proc/kmsg - you need root privileges to do that.

My TV110 couldn't boot with this release. I got "error in mount_flash could not mount /dev/system" error on console. Also console isn't very helpful: I issued "reboot recovery" command, but that didn' work(it only restarted box which booted normally then halted on console with same error message), so I had to disassemble my box and short reset pins on my nand to flash back android stock image(but don't worry it wasn't my first time to do this, so it went pretty fast).

What exactly do you mean by this? Is this "non bootable" risk only for v5.0.8? Release note doesn't tell me much

                              Thanks

Ok, I see what you are referring to now. Since I am running OpenELEC, the OTA does not concern me. The USB to RJ45 does not make sense to me, both sticks have the same inputs and with my MK808B+ I am using a gigabit USB Ethernet Adapter. Perhaps they mean under Android, the firmware accepts different USB Ethernet adapters with the Tronsmart? I really have no idea. So I think what your question really is, does the added functionality for the Tronsmart stick justify the higher price?
