512MB of RAM used... seems like these board have f*cked up u-boot. Let's see if I can solve that somehow by playing with device tree. Again.
Try deleting recovery.img from SD card before using toothpick method.
By the way I installed 6.0.3.1

Let's try a new build, shall we?
6.95.2.2: https://github.com/kszaq/OpenELEC.tv/releases/6.95.2.2
fanni2 kiwi_man82 Please report if this build boots for you. If it does, it should use whole 1GB of RAM (only 796MB is reported in Kodi, that's how it should be).
pesh Try if this one boots for you.
mwp1 kostaman Please try a little bit improved CEC implementation: does it work for you fine after waking the box up from suspend?

SD card also refuses to boot just stays on mxq logo
Just want to point out that trying to boot from the sd card sem bricks the box as well after removing the sd the box refuses to boot this is for the V3_1 boardLast edited by fanni2; 12 April 2016, 17:20.

fanni2 bordiart kostaman As 6.95.2.2 I analysed factory firmware posted on this forum and I have another kernel version to test. Instructions as before:- rename kernel.img on your SD card to something else, like kernel.img.bak
- download the new kernel and put on on SD card
- put SD card back to the box and test!
Link to test kernel: http://s805.eu/test/6.95.2.2-m201d-test01/kernel.img

1) I admit that "power off" may be unreliable in a few latest releases, I decided to bring back the old behaviour for my next builds. You'd still be able to force the box to "power off" via command line. This would also fix blue screen bug after powering off.
2) Yes, different button assignments are due to new CEC driver. Actually there are in line with OE builds for other devices.
3) That I never experienced. If I can't reproduce, I'm unlikely to fix, sorry.
4) Will look at that and fix.
kszaq Thanks for your reply. I am now running 6.95.2.2 on my MK808B Plus.
1) "Power off system" now seems to be fine. Don't know what you mean by the blue screen bug.
2) CEC seems fine so far.
3) I have had the audio problem once so far, so it's still there, but I fully understand that you can't fix it if you can't recreate it.
4) Ticker still doesn't work, but you haven't said that you fixed it so I expect you knew that!
Thanks.

Thanks.
Using my TV remote the only benefit is i can Pause/Stop/Ffw/Rw/Navigate GUI Without bringing up OSD.
I can also say that BLUE LIGHT comes ON when i turn Off the box
And RED light comes on when i Turn ON the box. Basically the reverse of the Android OS.
I have POWER OFF/REBOOT/SUSPEND Working with this version.
