No. Excuse me. I was wrong. Red button on remote operates the same. Or Suspend or Suspend and immediately Wake-Up (Looks like "Reload Skin").

It works with all my releases.
kszaq , thank you very much, you are awesome, config files work great. Will test it today.

        See what that brings up.
By the way have you opened this box and seen what ram is physically inside.
I have Tried cpu z which I posted a few posts back a screen capture of, it was showing 800 odd meg of ram, with the remaining 200 odd meg being assigned to gpu I guess. And yup I have physically open my box, again I have posted photos previously and there are 2x512 ram chips on my board ☺

Not really. Cyx firmware fakes RAM amount and your boxes have only 512MB of RAM. Confirmed by device tree. It does not lie. I will compile a "m201d" build for these boxes with a proper device tree. OE is much less RAM hungry and it should run fine with 512MB.
So even with 2x512meg ram chips I should only have 512meg but more grunt? Maybe they are connected in parallel? And Like batteries when connected in parallel it doesn't increase the voltage the batteries supply but provides more amperage? 😂😂😂 haha.

Remember that chip markings are in megabits and not megabytes. There is also a multiplier on them. For example, my box has 2 chips with 256X16DDR3 markings which sum up to 8192 megabits = 1024 megabytes.

Cyx firmware adds 512MB swap and that sums up to 1GB total memory, that's why you see more than 512MB total.

Oh right, I did not know that. So 512x8ddr3 chips means it is 512megabits x8? 4096 megabits? Which is 512 megabytes? I'm confused still... I'm not doubting you so please don't think I am. Just trying to learn a bit more and understand some more technical stuff than I do atm. So is it false advertising then to sell it as a 1gig ram device because I would expect it to have 1gig physical ram, not 512 meg with 512 swap?

Yes, 4096 megabits is 512 megabytes. Here's what I know for sure
                • cyx firmware fakes RAM amount visible to user and adds 512MB swap - tested on my own box (HTC-MXQ-V4 board with 1GB physical RAM)
                • device tree in cyx firmware defines there is 512MB physical RAM
I do not have this board and I won't draw definite conclusions but it looks like false advertising.

Ok. One more question for you there, why does cpu z show 1gig but free cmd in terminal show 2gig?

Maybe it shows physical RAM + swap. Or there's some other trickery going on. This is all with 20160116 firmware, right? I stress that these are all my assumptions, I don't know for sure.

burimek To get back the old CEC buttons behaviour, please use this (instructions inside): http://s805.eu/utils/old_cec_keymap_for_new_driver/

Yes that is correct, my android os fw is the 20160116 release. I understand that you are just making assumptions about my device as you don't have one yourself, and that is cool with me. I appreciate all the work you put into oe and still like it better than the stock android that comes with this box 😃 Am only really keeping android on my box for Skype on android. A bit annoying if what you assume is true as I bought this device as it had 1gig ram but hey, what can you do

                        kszaq

I just did some extensive testing of the new CEC driver in 6.0.3.6 and it is really nice. It fixes an issue that I had with the old CEC driver where :

When switching between active HDMI inputs (PS4) and (MK808B plus) on my Panasonic TC-P50GT25 TV, CEC control would be lost when switching back to Openelec. This is actually fixed in the new driver!!!

                        Thanks so much...again!

Please stick with the new driver going forward. It is the best.

sammaz The new CEC driver is actually Gerald's work, I only fixed it a little bit.

A new build ready to test:
                          • for V3_1 board users, there is a new target: m201d - I included remote.conf from factory firmware, please let me know if there are any buttons that don't work. Please remember to delete remote.conf from Configfiles folder first if you have put one there. Device tree is almost the same as cyx firmware, therefore 512MB RAM is available. NAND installation should work wihtout modifications now.
                          • mwp1 kostaman please test CEC in this build - does it work and how it behaves after suspend/wakeup?
                          • JoeyDaPhish Can you check if this build fixes audio sync for you?

kszaq I just tested hd18q. I had video issues with same HD live channels. Now is ok. Notice that wireless networks disappear and appear again in Connections settings. Dunno how to debug that. Nothing in dmesg.

sd card version works fine remote is working well for the V3_1 board

Installing to nand gives the following error
